The Outro was a little darker than usual, probably fitting due to the content of the level. I was expecting either a “Rorschach watching the building burn down” reference, or it ending with “So Spoony killed all the cultists and went for ice-cream with his swat-buddies. Except the ones who were dead.”

I have never had the SpoonyOne’s videos not work for me. They always work and i have firefox and adblocker on. So, I don’t see any ads either. Thank You Spoony for the great vids.

I’m guessing they weren’t actually running before the video, the video itself wouldn’t play and then the after-video ad would play because it thinks the video is done.

I’m curious, after you get the ‘completed mission’ message can you then go gun-crazy on your captives without fear of retribution from the scoring system? Or does the game keep scoring you even after you complete the mission objective?

Heh…I’ll just say this. Spoony has more restraint then I do. When I played through this level, I found the child graveyard BEFORE the cult leader…and was packing one of the pistols as my sidearm. Got him to surrender, had him handcuffed…then put a shot right between his eyes.
Well, two shots, because somehow, he managed to survive a point blank round to the head. Guess Xenu has an “everybody gets one” policy for miracles.
Anyway, awesome level…though I kind of wish they’d dropped a grenade at their feet. The reaction is always priceless. ;)

Awesome vid! I loved the ‘I will punch you in the fucking soul!’ line you dropped, that cracked me up. I’d like to know how other people have problems with the video, I have never once had one (And I’ve gone back and watched through the entire SWAT series of videos once or twice).
Kudos on getting it in one shot, that particular mission took me 6 or 7 tries before I finally got it down. I can’t wait to see how you handle the hotel mission (No offense, but I love your reactions to difficult missions and failing them, especially when your team screws up and drops a grenade at their feet). I’ve tried that one at least 20-30 times, I *still* can’t beat it. Hard enough giving you a full-on situation with dozens of heavily armed, armored terrorists…and then they give you a friggin’ TIME LIMIT on the top floor.

Great video, I really enjoy these Swat games. I’m going to have to dig out my copy of Swat 2.
And that was a great, dark ending. It’s rare games will go that far, especially in a realistic setting.

Great video as always, Spoony! When can we expect #9? I know a lot of people seem to have somehow seen it, but I’m having no such luck (even after braving the annoying Starburst ad several times).
As for post #104…..That was just creepy, but also had me LMAO at the same time – I just love the concept that any type of fundamentalist or whatever group is not only monitoring these kind of videos, but also ripping them apart and taking them 1) completely out of context, and 2) FAR too seriously :)
This was the first mission where I abandoned non-lethals, too. I’m finishing these at about the same time as you’re uploading the videos, excellently, but I’ve still not finished this mission with a good enough score. The bank/jeweller one I would have aced if my fuckwit teammates hadn’t taken my regroup command to mean “walk directly into the room full of gunmen instead of through the empty, secure corridor”. Damn them. Personally I use the beanbag shotgun and 9mm pistol – injuring them often gets a surrender instead of a kill, and the recoil’s easy to control. Otherwise, the 45 rifle is my favourite. Also, wedges are your friend, seriously. If you carry two or three between your squad you can keep those runners under control, sometimes even herding them into an easily-grenaded corner.

actually i agre on you one need more games using these psyco/seven styled stories for cop games asthey are really moody and intresting.
This was a one of the more fun but allso werry hard as i desided to go non lethal with running around with a teargas gun (aka paintball gun) with was of suprice to me for you can run around blasting away on anyone before they even show hostile intentions towards you and never get any penalty.

I have not gotten one starburst as and after the complaints, I tried really hard too find it. i still have not found it and have reloaded the video, in new screens, over 20 times. I keep getting the PUMA ad in the bottom. So I ask you all, why the hell are you visiting starburst sites, or food sites in your free time?
Nice one play through win Spoony and I know you like to bite back when the fans bite you, but it probably should not be on twitter. the people who subscribe to your twitter are every loyal (most likely) and the people who post here comprise of some of them, but also any jerk hole can just put a new name and bash you here if they want.
I suggest setting up user accounts here and laying down the ban hammer and deleting post’s to save your sanity from the retarded populace who could not create a video near 1% as good as what you come up with ON YOUR OWN no less.

THIS IS IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ THIS. Spoony isn’t at fault here, Blip supplies the ads. Yesterday, when I tried to play the video, the only thing that would come up was a minute and a half starburst ad. I tried it at least 7 times and even in different browsers on this website and blip.tv. Finally I just decided to wait until the next day to see if it would be fixed. And it was fixed. I was able to see this video without any ads popping up at all and I’m glad to see more of spoony. I’m just sick of all the people complaining about the problem and even more people telling them to shut up or that they’re stupid for not being able to get the video to play. I use Firefox with adblockers and such and I’ve never had such a problem before and it’s obviously a problem with blip, NOT SPOONY. And to JuanSolid up there, do you really think all these people talking about starburst ads are lying? Just to heckle Spoony? Or because they’re not loyal to Spoony? You sir, JuanSolid, are an ass-hat. Just because it didn’t happen when you clicked play doesn’t mean it didn’t happen to someone who played it before you.
Regarding post #104, and Scientology… if I were actually a Scientologist, I’d prefer my “church” wasn’t using the money they’d fleeced from me to act in an overly litigious manner against anyone who makes innocent jokes.
I know it was a BS post… but still… come on Scientologists. Come on.
I had the starburst problem too; I think what solved it was erasing my cache and browsing history then reloading the page, because after I did that it worked just fine; if anybody’s still having the problem, try it! Go to Tools, Clear Private Data…, and then select what I suggested in the Dialog Box, and see if that doesn’t fix it.
Of course, you still need to have your advertisement-block software off :P
