A crew of highly-organized thieves have hit the Du Plessis Diamond Wholesalers, but they made the unwise move of bringing along Mr. Blonde. Civilians are dead, the escape plan went tits-up, and now they’re barricaded inside. Worst of all, they’re heavily-armed, armored, and prepared for a prolonged standoff, complete with gas masks!
Can SWAT break the standoff and restore order? Someone call Michael Mann, there’s a movie in this!

yeah, thats the mission i stopped playing Swat4, going up against guys in protective armor and gas masks, armed with assault rifles and still being penalized when using deadly force without shouting warnings first just felt like a joke. Why dont you give me rubber bullets while youre at it?
Spoony, I just now finished the next level of this properly. Every time I finish a mission, you upload. It’s really quite uncanny. Much appreciated, too. Argh, the undercover cop level in the knackered building, eh? I managed to capture about seven guys in a tiny crossroads by simply unloading everything I had, and then one camping fucker right at the end popped me through a staircase. God damn this game. Why did you do it, Spoony? Why did you show us how great it is?
Oh, by the way, I discovered the perfect way to vent my frustration on the grunts who keep running off to get slaughtered, turning their back on open doorways, or just standing in my way when I’m trying to take out a hostage taker – reload the level, but give everyone else pepper guns. Then kill one of them, and they all go mental trying to shoot you, but to no avail. Enjoy!

before i had to re-install swat 4 i was stuck on this mission. now i’m back at the red library *AGAIN*.
Heat is awesome! The gun fire audio is amazing. It makes other bullet sound effects you see nowadays sound like quarters being bounced on the sidewalk by comparison.
@57: I think the glove is standard apparel for handling jewels.
Hey Spoony hope you get to read this: try the SWAT 4 Enhancement Mod. It makes the swat team faster/smarter, bumps all the textures, adds weapons, etc.

Heat was a great heist movie. I’m curious if the video game will feature either the shoot out scene in the abandoned drive-in theatre playing as Val Kilmer’s character being a sniper, or Tom Sizemoore with a shotty guarding the entrance (which will be sweet!). Or outside of the bank as shown in the last 20 minutes of the movie? To be honest I don’t think the movie will translate well into a video game. With as much dialogue that there is in the movie for character development purposes and what have you, how can it become a game without boring the player?

God, I loathed this damn mission when I played it. Took me about five damn tries, and I was using non lethal weapons! Swat 4 tends to be manageable enough in terms of difficulty, until you get into those maze like rooms, or the ones with a lot of space that make your crosshair go wider than Paris Hilton’s legs.
Loved the montage! You manage to pin all of my frustrations for the game and its levels, still a lot of fun, though.
Man. Seems like whenever I watch a SWAT vid I have to go download a damn song to my iPod. Fucking awesome Montage!

I like the way the Red Library was handled the best. Don’t get me wrong I love watching you fail and I understand the lack of bitching this mission had to offer other than losing because of Reynolds shooting you in the ass or nade shitting but I liked the fail then come back where you were or if something interesting happens set up. Maybe tack on a montage of fail after the blue text in the end with comments on them and keep the fails to a minimum of 2 or 3 for the main video.

I am REALLY loving the SWAT Let’s Play series! I can’t wait for the next one! I kinda hope you will show a little more of your attempts in the next one though. The Death Montage was funny, but it would have been even funnier to see you bitch at Reynolds shooting you in the back. I loved this mission, this was the mission I pretended to be Snake and go through by myself with as much stealth as possible. It worked great too. I especially love the billions of dead dudes in the vaults. Moments like those kick ass when you come out of it alive with no penalties.

Yeah, this level is ridiculous. One time, I had cleared every room in the place, only for the last guy to execute a civilian while I was waiting for my crosshair to focus on his head.
Must be nearly done with this now, please do the expansion pack afterwards! You’ll love it for two reasons; uber-tazer, and you can punch civilians in the face to subdue them.

The only other Michael Mann movie I ever saw was “Collateral” and I loved that movie. Looking forward to “Public Enemies.”

Came back to site today an im surprised he is still on the SWAT game. I didn’t think it was an especially funny game in the first place. Let alone worth this many videos of. These games are not that complicated its all about sending in the cpu partners an let their aimbot do the work. Hopefully he finds some other obscure PC title with better material for him to make fun of. That or play a more popular one an point out the silly illogical things. FF8 hint hint.
