They did miss having Dr. Insano in there, and just pulled a jesus clone out of their assholes. Sorry to say, but I didn’t find Spoony’s acting that top-notch. I’ve seen him more convincing in other videos, here he just smiled through the whole thing. I’m sure it’s not just him, but because I like Spoony so much, this glued to my mind.

Great job, Spoony. I thought it was well-acted all throughout, really. My minor criticisms is that the DK Jesus came out of nowhere, and that would’ve been the perfect place to incorporate a Dr. Insano gag, maybe the NC looking over to you when SMDC Jesus came out, you going all shifty-eyed, like a ten second Dr. Insano bit of you introducing the DK Jesus, and that would really be all it needed. And maybe Linkara giving you a confused, two-second look in the middle of the fight.

But I understand that there were SO MANY gags and shoutouts that they had to get in that some stuff wouldn’t fit. I think you all did a great job.

When the SMDC showed up, I will admit i cried out “Neutro!” expecting Dr. Insano or Burton to be in control. Though you got V. little screen time, the severe lack of Insano or even a “PHANTASMAGORIA!” as a battle cry was certainly lacking.
This however fill my monthly requirement of AWESOME!

As for a crossover… Spoony and who? It has to be FF8, otherwise I have a sneaking suspicion that some fans will eat you alive. Now you dont even have an excuse, You’ve got someone else to lump all the major work on, you could just show up at the beginning and deliver a line and then just sit back and laugh as the crossover reviewer gets more and more frustrated at the PoS game (Though I actually didn’t mind FF8, I just have selective amnesia and forget that its by the same people who did FFVII)

That was really hilarious. I loved Spoony getting Goggles and Nostalgia Chick to catfight. Everyone was really funny (especially the guy playing Mati) and looked like they had a fun time. Must’ve been a blast filming it and hanging out with all the others afterwards.

Honestly? that was horrible…The parts with spoony were mildly funny as well as a few other moments…but for the most part this was….rather shamefully sad.

I made it about half-way through that turd before I felt like a complete tool for even watching it. Seriously, that was awful, and pretty shameful. I know you could say that satirical online game and movie reviews have a certain nerd quality as it is, but that’s taking it to an unnecessary level. Horrible.

Absolutely hysterical. I love that at some points Spoony isn’t even fighting anyone.

This is just random carbage… Forced humor as usual with TGWTG – just not funny… Yea that DKjesus is just one sad example along with the big lip alligator bullshit. I honestly can’t believe how so many of you view this and says “OMG I HAD AN ORGASM WHILE WATCHING THIS EPICWINEPICEPICAWESOMEAWESOME!!”… No this isn’t epic at all… this is just sad. How is it that some of those people from TGWTG that can barely record a video feed, much less tell a joke, first get shit all over the front page of that site, and then get prime placement in a video like this? Epic in every sense of the word. Seeing guys like Handsome Tom (and 8-Bit Mickey) in the same room as the AVGN was great, but then hitting LMG with a Shoryuken? Win.

I’ve watched the Epic Brawl three times now, and loved it more each time. That said, I think Spoony’s entrance kinda stole the show here. Looking back on it, his was the only intro that had any measurable impact – almost everyone else just kinda walked on screen. As much as WE all loved it, I felt it was especially good for newer fans who aren’t familiar with him; if nothing else, it serves to make them feel as if they SHOULD know him.

this is some seriously funny shit. I also loved “and 8 bit mickey” and the whole Nostalgia critic can’t remember a stirring speech so just referring to ones he heard in movies, and the snapping pics of the girl fight thing, and ANYTHING with that damn heart kid from captain planet…man actually i;ll just stop and say the whole video was friggin awesome or i’ll just rattle off virtually every joke as worth noting…

Jesus this is… looking back on this after seeing Kickassia and Suburban Knights, and thinking back on all the fucking history going on here… what can I even say?

A couple months back I initiated a good friend into the Way of The Glasses. And every few minutes I had to stop whatever we were watching so I could give him the 30-second version of whatever the thing was we were seeing.

Wow, I had never seen this one before. It’s SOOOO MUCH better than the abominations that were Kickassia and Suburban Knights. Those two started promising, but then just dragged on and on and on with terrible writing (and only Spoony’s moments could salvage them).
