I’m seeing something… Is it? No… But this looks amazing. I never had a game like this when i was a kid. But looking at this stuff makes me wonder if there have ever been more of this made. I think yeah. But getting some known actors may not be the most smartest thing to do. I mean, many of the new thinks that come these days are often given to the A ones with little them being something we’re not. What? They get stuff easy, and i want it too. I watched a playthrough of this once. My favorite part is when Walken slashes his own forehead open while giggling, it comes out of nowhere and makes me crack up. Of course, Spoony, you’ll probably go mad with all the transition scenes at the hospital.

Loved the Susan Boyle comment, it just amazes me that she has become so famous she’s even mentioned in south park, i mean yeah she’s a good singer but i’ve head a lot better the only reason she’s so big is that she is ugly and people were surprised she could sing. Admit it if a model went up there and song better there would be a lot less hype. At least she didn’t win.

Haw, nice MST3K-esque riffing. Awesome job, usually I’ve seen people just talk all over the people, which you did at some parts, but was not a deal breaker in any sense. Perfect job riffing in between people talking, funny too, keep up the great work.

I played this game after seeing Spoony comment on it in FMV Hell. I have to say, on the whole, I really disliked it. The only pleasure I got out of it was watching Walken parody himself. Aside from that, the overuse of 7th Guest and Tex Murphy puzzles really bog this game down. I will say the rail shooter segments showed initiative to break the genre mold, and the story had some good elements, but as a game, it was pretty frustrating and dull. I knew I was in trouble when that mug puzzle was taking way too long.

Aww…. finally spoony is back to riffing. I love it as always. Good to see a new one. Swat is good and all but its not of this caliber of entertainment. While it does have your humor sprinkled through out I find the FMV Hell riffs are the most entertaining. Probably cus I lived through the era when the gaming industry was trying to “revolutionize” games with this kind of game play saying it made games more like interactive movies (which you mentioned on one of your older reviews).

If anyone actually looks back in the history of gaming there was a good 5 years or so where these games were coming out alot. They were all corny although some were admittedly more fun then others. You can see this ideal is still preserved in games today though and I find it shocking that you do Ripper now after E3 where alot of talk was made to the effect of making games and movies work with each other instead of one using the other merely for franchising toys but having no merit (in other words all the crappy movie games that generally come out), being that this one had ALOT of famous screen actors (I have always been shocked Walken was in this game, and to be totally honest for a little while it just seemed more like Walken didnt know how to handle this form of acting). This is not to say no others did something that high caliber, Toonstruck had ALOT of famous voice over actors (a forgotten art these days now that big screen actors are filling these roles- sigh) but the difference is these are screen actors and as such the feel is a little more shocking and back then unusual (and as I said Walkens acting shows how unusual it was as hes always been a good actor but he didnt how to handle this one). Anyway Im jabbering to much. Great video.

I truly hope your quitting is merrily a joke or symbolic statement of anger towards that ‘Twilight’ Bullshit. Your videos are funnier and more insightful then any other reviewer online, including AVGN and TGWTG. You know what would be nice? If you did a “Let’s Play…” for one of the Fallout games or if you did a video game review of Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel. Or you could also do something similar to what your doing with Final Fantasy VIII and that is review all four cannon Fallout games but have it be something like five to eight parts per game. Or you could also do something similar to Phantasmagoria 2 and just review the first Fallout game but have each part be an hour long. You don’t have to do this but it would be nice to see you review a game that you do like and not just make a riff-track on it. Besides, you said it yourself, your a big Fallout fan. Besides, it would be nice to see how your character is turning out on Fallout 3.

Mine is a righteous, heavy packing, power armour toting, medical, science, and repair expert. Able to buy anything in the game with only 10% of the items value added for my end, and am fully capable killing off even the toughest enemies in the game. I make Super Mutant Overlords look like cannon fodder, well that is on the game. And before anyone judges me, I’m not some loser that plays RPG’s and MMO’s just to beef up stats and try to make everyone on the server look like a push over. I have a life, I know the difference between reality and surreality. Can’t a guy be able to talk about how good they are at a game without being persecuted and without being thought of as an unmotivated, moronic, schmuck? I like video games, though I don’t obsess over them. I know damn well that they’re just games. Nothing more, nothing less, just fucking games.
