What I mean to say is that The Dark Knight is superior to Transformers: ROTF in every way. And when I go to watch a movie that mostly caters to fanboys while allowing the average movie-goer to enjoy the film, said film should, to say the least, respect the source material. Whereas Michael Bay openly hates the Transformers franchise, and the only reason he's doing these movies is so he could blow sh*t up and make money off the idiots who gush over every minute of it. I like it when stuff blows up, but when the main story is pointless, so are the explosions. Dark Knight was, for the most part, intelligent. And I don't mean in an artsy-fartsy kinda way; I mean at no point did the movie insult the audience.

the gods of the transformers universe are the god of chaos and order, the god of order is the transformers home planet (which was said to have bin destroyed). most of the shit Mitchel bay brought up like transformer eggs, does happen in some of the other series's. still this movie has massive plot holes.

I only got 5 minutes into Doug's review before I HAD to come back and watch the part about the Dutch angles again to make sure this was the movie you were talking about. I can't believe I remembered that. xD Wooow.

I'm only 19:12 into part 1 of your review, and I couldn't agree with you more about this movie. I actually got into an arguement with someone I worked with, and he brought out the “what do you expect in a [insert cliche] movie” excuse. Now, at the time, I couldn't think of a rebuttal because just having to think about the movie infuriated me. But a friend of mine came in for the save and he answered, “The Dark Knight.” Just by comparing the two films, it's a friggin' no-brainer when you think of both movies as a whole.

You forgot to mention ONE important thing in that movie, that made me realize that this movie didnt even need to get made. I hope you see this comment and even think about it very deeply.

This movie had no purpose to being made what so ever. Remember when that main character went up to “robot heaven” and they had that very 'smart' quote “The all spark is not found, it is given” That means, THIS WHOLE MOVIE WAS ENTIRELY POINTLESS!!!! The main character could have wipped his ass for two hours and it would have amounted the same as what he did in this movie

Running time? That's all you have is Running Time? And Batman and Robin, That's a bigger Abomination than TF:ROTF could ever be. It took the Baddest most destructive Batman Villain a character that was supposed to be Batman's equal and turns him into a mindless gimp. Other than that I agree with most of the movies. TF:ROTF wasn't as good as the first one and there are tons of movies that I would watch other than it.

Batman and Robin ISN'T One of them.
