In memory of good ol’ Billy. I’ll forever be on the ball.

KrissyDiggs June 28, 2009 at 2:15 pm

This is a conspiracy isn’t it?! Biblical sins? Envy(Billy Mays), Pride (MJ), Lust (Farrah), Greed(Ed). DEAR LORD HIDE OPRAH!!!! D:>

In all seriousness… it’s really sad… so many well known folks in such a short span of time…

Lucan June 28, 2009 at 2:17 pm

@48: Get out. Leave. Go. Evict yourself.

Ely June 28, 2009 at 2:27 pm

I was a little meh about mj dying mainly because i didnt see why he was so popular, and was a little put off as I saw that fawcett dying from like a 20 year struggle with cancer a little more important than somebody i really didnt care for being killed from what they say was cardiac arrest brought on by some sort of drug abuse, but oh well. and billy mays’ death may be attributed to his airplane ride that he took yesterday, the tires blew and the luggage came loose and I believe he said that he was hit by some of it, that might have done him in :( i just saw a commercial of his yesterday

Sanlo June 28, 2009 at 2:27 pm

chuck norris will be next

AMReese June 28, 2009 at 2:31 pm

So I should give a crap about him because he makes more money than me? Where’s the logic in that? Besides, this is the best place to state my opinion. In the comments section of a post related to him.

It’s called an “opinion”. You have your own, I have mine. Get over it. I would’ve been just fine if he had never existed at all. He had ZERO impact on the planet.

Dinger June 28, 2009 at 2:32 pm

this has been a bad month for celeberties

Rock June 28, 2009 at 2:35 pm

It’s been a bad year for celeberties really…Just look how many in mems Spooney’s posted so far this year…
On a related note, where’s Clint Eastwood? We might have a mass Dead Pool conspiracy going on here…

ChadVision June 28, 2009 at 2:35 pm

I knew of everyone death except for Bill Mays, I was shocked! I had to search it to see of it was true. This has to be the worst week ever…

jnywest June 28, 2009 at 2:41 pm

nice…but you forgot David Caradine….

Kara June 28, 2009 at 2:45 pm

Billy Mays dies and that whore smackin’ Shamwow guy still lives? INJUSTICE I SAY!

Locke Fan June 28, 2009 at 2:47 pm
Kara June 28, 2009 at 2:50 pm

And all you dipshits whining about Spoony forgetting David Carradine, he already posted for him earlier in the month. So shut up!

AMReese June 28, 2009 at 2:56 pm

He already mentioned Carradine in an earlier post. He just never mentioned these people.

Zeiram June 28, 2009 at 2:59 pm

this may be a bit on the morbid side, but who’s next? I’d like to know beforehand so it isn’t as much of a shock

AMReese June 28, 2009 at 3:06 pm

Well, I’m betting someone like Christopher Lee, who is 87 years old, which makes him a year older than Ed McMahon. I love Christopher Lee, but he is old. He’s just as old as Abe Vigoda is, but we all know Abe is immortal.

1047 June 28, 2009 at 3:13 pm

@12, 14, and 15:
Yeah, some one got their hands on a Death Note.

Damnit, Vince Offer, I hate you.

Zalaralith June 28, 2009 at 3:43 pm

You think it’s Yagami Light or Enma Ai behind all this?

Phil Radz June 28, 2009 at 3:57 pm

Fuckin’ Billy Mays too? Shit.

Megamanenm June 28, 2009 at 4:09 pm

at #55:

Chuck Norris already died. Death is just too afraid to tell him.

Michael June 28, 2009 at 4:20 pm

(This post contains various mental ponderings and shit. If you don’t want to read it, skip this comment/ Warned you.)

You know, all these deaths sadden me, but May’s death really struck a chord with me and it took me a while to really figure out why, but I think it has to do with the nature of his departure.

Don’t get me wrong, I liked McMahon, Fawcett, and Jackson, but to an extent you could see their deaths coming. Fawcett had cancer, Jackson had a medicinal addiction and was clearly at the end of his life, and McMahon was in his 80s with various health problems, so they don’t really have the “WTF?” factpr pf a man who seemed fine. He was still doing interviews, and seemed to still have some life ahead of him. BAM! Dead.

It really says something about how life can be so fragile, and why one should never take the precious minutes we have for granted. You just never know when your last hours are going to be.

And shit like this always seems to happen to decent, well-meaning (if loud) people like Mays, and not fuckers like Shia Lebouf.

calpal80833 June 28, 2009 at 4:26 pm

It’s official this month is going withstand the history of time. Not only we have a bunch of famous people passed away, but the Iranian revolution is an insane uproar. I even heard websites were shut down because too much people were so curious on all these events.

R.I.P. To all these guys.

InsertNameHere June 28, 2009 at 4:51 pm

First of all, R.I.P. to these four.

Second, I know that this is going to sound offensive, but when did Billy Mays die?

ZiziTheDouche June 28, 2009 at 4:55 pm

Apparently nobody heard about Dom DeLouise.
Honestly I’m, most upset about Billy Mays, he was just so lively and full of spirit. What a damn shame.

aaa June 28, 2009 at 4:55 pm

It seems that year 2009 is going to get really interesting.

Guy June 28, 2009 at 4:56 pm

Mays died today this morning.

xplay3r June 28, 2009 at 5:09 pm

niQboy June 28, 2009 at 5:29 pm

Billy Mays? Seriously? what the fuck

NiteShift June 28, 2009 at 5:32 pm

Damn, Billy Mays was just on The Tonight Show this past week.

Insomnia June 28, 2009 at 5:40 pm

Bleh, all I can say is… What a week…

Altoman5 June 28, 2009 at 5:50 pm

What a terrible month and possibly terrible year. RIP to all.

Galdos June 28, 2009 at 5:59 pm

Worst week ever

Im saddest about Billy Mays, the other two were before my time and I never was really a big MJ fan (didnt mind his music)
Im sad they are all gone but Billy Mays, I actually thought he was awsome. *sigh*

AaronTheGamingGame June 28, 2009 at 6:02 pm

what about David Carradine?

calpal80833 June 28, 2009 at 6:16 pm

*Sigh*

How many more people are going to keep asking about David Carradine? Spoony already gave him a memorial to him earlier.

jackofblades June 28, 2009 at 6:48 pm

Damn.
What a crappy week

First MJ then Billy………

RIP to all

hadokenboom25 June 28, 2009 at 7:06 pm

thedragonb0y June 28, 2009 at 7:14 pm

Man. Things just keep getting worse and worse.

Oliver June 28, 2009 at 7:17 pm

This has been a terrible week… RIP to all

AMReese June 28, 2009 at 7:31 pm

Once again, I love David Carradine and all, but… he got his own stupid ass killed. That’s all I’m gonna say about that.

kevin June 28, 2009 at 8:01 pm

wow. something is up with all these people dyin. was most mad about billy since i always thought he was a WAY better pitchman than vincent offer.

Jesse S. June 28, 2009 at 8:02 pm

All four will be missed for various reasons, even if half of them were a little before my time. Biggest surprise there is Billy Mays.

alex d June 28, 2009 at 8:02 pm

Have you notice that all of their careers have been based on yelling or screaming?

Ed McMahon “Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeere’s Johnny!”

Billy Mays “Oxyclean!!”

Michael Jackson “oooohhhh!!”

Farrah Fawcett her screaming…. hair

J Turnblat June 28, 2009 at 8:09 pm

Michael Jackson knew how to shot web.

Dom June 28, 2009 at 8:13 pm

BILLY!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! ):

Jimmy June 28, 2009 at 8:28 pm

Oh my god.. So many heroes are gone. I’ll miss a few of them and try to remember who the others were, they were way before my time.

Air13ourn June 28, 2009 at 8:29 pm

God dammit man. God dammit.

I mean, when I heard Ed McMahon die, I was saddened. Then I heard Michael Jackson died two days later and I was literally heartbroken. He was a legend and a king, and I always respected his music (even though he made some stupid personal choices). I listened to his music for most of the day. And during the middle of it I learned Farrah Fawcett died, and that just shocked me.

I woke up out of bed today and heard family members talking about Billy Mays, and when I told them who he was, they informed me of his death. I was shocked. Billy Mays was somebody who you just can’t replace man…it’s ridiculous

Viper6390 June 28, 2009 at 8:41 pm

DAMN what a terrible week! One of my favorite singers gone and I didn’t really mind Billy Mays. I just saw one of his commericals today. I forget what he was advertising though. Also, Transformers is still climbing at the box office even though it doesn’t really deserve it. Are people really that stupid to believe that having explosions and robots fighting even though the movie has a bad plot, terrible dialouge, a ton of plotholes, and racist sterotypes qualifies as a good film. Michael Bay gave us shit such as Pearl Harbor and Armageddon and yet here we are giving him all of our money and all he has to do is show us mindless explosions and violence and people will eat right out his hands. It just makes me so mad and to see people think this qualifies as a good film. Angry Joe thought it was a good film and I have a lot of respect for him, but I just strongly disagree with him. Oh well, at least Public Enemies is coming out this week. Also, I just hope we don’t have any more famous celebrities die this year. 4 is definitely enough and all in one week no less.

TOYBOXX June 28, 2009 at 8:43 pm

June 2009 has been a depressing month so far with the deaths of these celebrities. Who’s next: James Earl Jones?

S0AP117 June 28, 2009 at 9:00 pm

This really wasn’t a good week for celebrities.

IMONFIREGUY June 28, 2009 at 9:07 pm

4 celebs in such a short time
well 5 if you count caradine a couple weeks earlier
