Epic Brawl: Chicago Vlog – Day 5

by Spoony on July 27, 2009 · View Comments

(I know this is very out-of-date, but Scarlett just told me that I never added this vlog to the site! Sorry!)

The final day of The Spoony One’s Chicago odyssey brings him to the fabled Urkel House. Later, he battles a Silver Slime that has invaded downtown and goes on the run from the Department of Homeland Security’s Parking Enforcement Division!

Riodragon July 27, 2009 at 1:41 pm

That ampitheatre in the distance looked like a crumpled piece of God’s toilet paper. :P

Silvexsun July 27, 2009 at 1:52 pm

Giant face obelisks. Does YOUR city have one?

aluminum July 27, 2009 at 2:05 pm

Wow didn’t know you couldn’t film in a parking garage….

Ryguy987 July 27, 2009 at 2:09 pm

HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kuncoss July 27, 2009 at 2:22 pm

I liked the little action that occured in the parking garage. If that guy had been running after you for sometime, wouldn’t he kind of understood the goal of your taping because of the position you were holding the camera? (you know, up towards your face?) Silly man :P

IrJzn July 27, 2009 at 2:47 pm

In order to get to Lindsay, we must find this Gary person… and break him.

Ghost July 27, 2009 at 2:50 pm

HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH the parking garage part was awesome

Camisado July 27, 2009 at 2:51 pm

COMMAND ME!!!!!

groskino July 27, 2009 at 3:12 pm

yes, nickleback sucks hard. anyway funny vid, and i will not only worship scarlett, from now on i will obey her. speaking about obeyence, every city needs a 1984 Big Brother Obelisk, to fit the homel. sec. stuff.

War is peace Freedom is slavery Ignorance is strength

JC July 27, 2009 at 3:15 pm

Surprised you guys didnt get arrested or fined for “gang action” here in chicago. Yes, that is actually a stupid law that is enforced in areas, where a group of no more than 3 or 4 can be in front of a house that they do not live in at a time. Of course, you guys weren’t in any of the bad areas, so never mind.

JC July 27, 2009 at 3:24 pm

oh and awesome Dragon Quest reference.

Mullerkeks July 27, 2009 at 3:27 pm

The pros (and japanese) call it Dragon Quest.

stupid gray slimes….run away like little squalls

The_Chanman_V1 July 27, 2009 at 3:32 pm

Maybe the fat security guard thought you were leaking info to Dr Insano, Spoony.

Klyde July 27, 2009 at 3:32 pm

What was Chicago Day 4? If this is Day 5… I missed something…

Booze Zombie July 27, 2009 at 3:49 pm

Lindsay can never deny her assets!

I hear groaning… and not the good kind!

Linkara July 27, 2009 at 3:50 pm

Day 4 was filming Warrior and Wolverine: Adamantium Rage.

Diggerjohn111 July 27, 2009 at 3:54 pm

About the “cannibalism wrap”….I didn’t notice anyone missing from the filming, so it had to be a local.

Kvb July 27, 2009 at 4:08 pm

I already saw this on Blip. I probably should’ve told you…

PublicEnemy July 27, 2009 at 4:19 pm

lol I actually don’t mind that this came late, it was a nice little look-back on the big event that happened only a while back even tho it almost feels like forever ago

and by watchin this it looks like James got the footage for his video from you. Thats pretty cool :)

esb92 July 27, 2009 at 4:21 pm

does anyone know were that short music clip when the gard appears comes from?

Matt July 27, 2009 at 4:24 pm

I already saw this one. mabey i saw it on cinemassacre.com.

AWD! July 27, 2009 at 4:27 pm

Find if funny how vulgar Benzaie is at a kids park… You know, those crazy frogs, no holding back the f-bombs in front of the kids… Maybe that’s why so many of them start smoking at such an early age.

Docta Fuzz July 27, 2009 at 4:45 pm

Dragon quest! 10 points to me! I remember fighting them in the newest one… 8 was it? In the shitty castle… And they ALWAYS RUN from you, but if killed give you more exp than basically any full map killing you can do..

Coldguy July 27, 2009 at 5:11 pm

Paul Blart must have been fired for something…also only a few choice souls have footage of day 4 *whistles*

Jake Rhodes July 27, 2009 at 5:25 pm

Yeah it was Dragon Quest VIII – The Journey of the Cursed King.

urza22000 July 27, 2009 at 5:37 pm

That slime looked a lot bigger than I would’ve imagined it from Dragon Warrior 1 (or Dragon Quest which ever you want to call it). I remember my older bro beat the game at least 2 times and only found 1 each time and couldn’t kill the little crap cause it’s fist instinct must be “Oh shit this guy’s got a sword and armor” and then run better than a slime should especially a metal one.

Emran July 27, 2009 at 5:59 pm

seen this video already
its a very good video btw
If I’m not mistaken he did the voice of Sonic

Oh wait yes he did his real name is Jaleel White he did in both series “Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog” and “Sonic the Hedgehog”

and he also had a Suicide hoax which he faked killing himself

Joe July 27, 2009 at 6:23 pm

I say 10 Points for the Silver Kelolons from Lost Odyssey. Looks a lot more like them!

mhayes86 July 27, 2009 at 6:24 pm

Gary Gygax changed my life, too.

CheesecakeSeptember July 27, 2009 at 6:35 pm

OMFG, Fatty Mc-Kool-Aid… Parking Garage Security: SERIOUS BUSINESS.

Jesse S. July 27, 2009 at 6:56 pm

So, no filming in parking ramps, huh? Worth remembering.

Talvrae July 27, 2009 at 6:56 pm

You mean Gary Gigax? good luck he died of cancer two years ago or so… by the way it’s one of the creator of Dungeons and Dragons

Jarlax July 27, 2009 at 6:56 pm

EPIC vlog. I actually went back and watched a bunch of the epic battle get together vids just a few days ago, so seeing this now was pretty awesome.

Emran July 27, 2009 at 7:07 pm

Tommy Oliver and I think Zack Taylor were in that ep when Steve became Bruce Lee

spoonman July 27, 2009 at 7:16 pm

Hey buddy, how about something new? 2 weeks with nothing but a youtube video and an old video? Ya slippin dawg, ya slippin.

KoDTJohn July 27, 2009 at 7:17 pm

Spoony, I WANT that T-shirt. Where did you get it?

WyldFox July 27, 2009 at 7:22 pm

that was worth watching the extended version, just for the terrorist scene (lmao, what is that crap. That is so damn stupid!) and the giant face of judgement.

Altoman5 July 27, 2009 at 8:26 pm

I saw this vid a while back and it was great seeing you and the others touring Chicago and trying to avoid the whole Homeland Security bullshit. A parking structure is not exactly the ideal target for terrorists. Anyway, glad that you finally put up this vid and I can’t wait for your next review in your new place. Hope things work out, Spoony!

I still miss Burton…

Zalaralith July 27, 2009 at 8:34 pm

Dragon Warrior. +10

Tommy Oliver and I think Zack Taylor were in that ep when Steve became Bruce Lee

Actually, Zack was in a different episode. The guy playing the gang leader in the Bruce Lee episode was the yellow ranger’s boyfriend on Power Rangers Zeo.

Tom July 27, 2009 at 10:09 pm

I love the Monty Python reference there Spoony (“and now for something completely different…”). I can’t believe that guy ran all that way just to tell you to stop filming….in a parking garage. You can film the skyscrappers, but please not inside our parking garage.

Fallout July 27, 2009 at 10:29 pm

lol u can tell Spoony is getting ticked with Aussie at a few points.
