The Cinema Snob's ironic, caustic brand of humor is often hilarious to watch. He is an excellent film reviewer.
I'm slightly curious whether anyone has the Cinema Snob's e-mail address. I've been trying to contact him, but can't seem to find a link.

Straydog, I didn't mean to imply that you said anything other than what I quoted, I guess I just worded my post poorly. Personally, I'm just laughing at the mayhem and facepalming at how SPOILED people can be about their "e-gods."

I can't hear the audio in the video. I can hear it when the guy is talking, but not when he plays clips from the actual movie.

SPOONY, please put up a POLL, so we can shut up one side or the other (lovers or haters). I think I'd find this reviews a lot better if it wasn't for the prolonged phases of absolute silence where supposedly the film is being unintentionally funny :(

Regardless of whether you enjoy the Snob's videos, regardless of whether you agree with Spoony hosting or featuring other peoples' works, regardless of whether your penis can be seen from space, your comments hosted here are on a website you do not have any authority over and consume resources you do not (directly) pay for. At least have the decency and dignity to criticize constructively if you are going to criticize and have on top of those qualities the maturity to not cast the Comments section into the realm of pointless bickering; otherwise, you are only tarnishing the website you are allegedly "fans" of.

You don't like the Snob's voice? Suggest he speak with less monotony. You don't like his feet? Suggest he wear socks or slippers or shoes. You don't like his choice of movies? Suggest he review horrible movies you want him to.

You don't like Spoony hosting or featuring other peoples' works? Suggest he not make them front page material but have a separate section for Honorable Mentions or the like. You don't like the lack of updates regarding pure Spoony material? Suggest he update us more often via the twitter box.

You do like the Snob and have no problems with Spoony? That's great. You don't have to reply to people who don't agree with your stance, though.

A little tip when interacting with people: In the eyes of observers, when you call people who make fools of themselves fools, you often become a fool yourself in the process.

For the record, I like the Cinema Snob. And am I the only one who finds the "annoying" voice fitting for someone with the word "snob" in his name? Jeez...

I don't like him as much as Spoony, granted, but I'm not some sniveling perfectionist who somehow managed to melt enough brain cells that his percieved definition of "enjoyable" became "as enjoyable as Spoony's work."

The Almighty Lord of the Timestream (that'd be me) looks down from the heavens and laughs at the squawking, squabbling little wretches bitching and moaning that the Cinema Snob "shouldn't" be on this site.

Honestly, it's a motherfucking WEBSITE that hosts HOME-MADE REVIEW VIDEOS made by ONE GUY, IN HIS BEDROOM. I don't give a flying fuck's fiery fart *how* big a fan you are, pitching a bitch over having someone that you find less entertaining hosted on the same site is just hilariously stupid. And it's not like the Cinema Snob is renting out the same studio, delaying Spoony's own filming and editting. Whiny brats, all of you. Just admit it and stop trying to justify your asstardery.

I love this stuff. He's different, he's got a different feel than the other reviewers. Snobbish, kind of. I like it. I like it a lot. I'd eat food to this.

Meh, it's not my favorite of the Snob's videos, but it's not terrible.

And anyway, if you don't like it, don't watch it. It's not like he's uploading these as an excuse to not make his own videos, after all.

Watched it only partially. Near the middle of the video, the guy's voice and frankly obnoxious commentary started making my eyes twich in pain.

Look, I'm not asking this be "All Spoony, all the time", guests are great. But this was just... terrible.

the fact that the site is his, he isn't getting paid for this, and he doesn't answer to his fans only mean he is bot doing any of this for his own benefit. he is sacrificing a lot of his own spare time for this site, because of his fans

Say what you will, but this Snob character isn't cut out for this. His material is mediocre at best (and considering he's reviewing movies as bad as these, that's saying something), his voice is annoying, and he is only touching the aspects of the movies that are so painfully obvious, it is the equivalent to pointing out holes in Swiss cheese.

As for the 'expanding his site" theory, no one would mind if the guy was actually good. Sure, TGWTG hosts a lot of people, but how many of them are actually up to standard?

The site belongs to Spoony, so he can post whatever the fuck he wants and whenever he wants. The site is also free, you don't pay for content meaning he has no strict schedule in which he has to adhere to; again, he can post whatever the fuck he wants and whenever the fuck he wants.

If you don't like the Cinema Snob's vids, don't watch 'em. You're not being forced to watch his vids, you haven't paid for his vids...and so you really have nothing to whine about. The world does not revolve around you, so grow the hell up and stop whining like a pussy.

To be honest, to me even Spoonys Vlogs are more entertaining than the snobs videos.
At least with spoony, it feels like hes adressing the viewers, not just ranting into empty space.
That, and saying how horribly bad cheap slasher flicks are, is about as original as saying
the new star wars trilogy sucks.

Maybe the snob has an appeal that is just beyond my recognition. But for the time being, hes better than nothing

It turns me off his reviews because he makes no attempt to say to his fans "Hey guys, making fun of Seans weight isn't cool, hes my friend, and you dont know him." It turns me off his reviews that he's posting videos on his site for a friend like the Snob, and people are bitching out his feet being in the video. Its not constructive criticism, and is really only being said to be mean. It bothers me, because Spoony shouldn't have to apologize for his fans, but you think he'd stick up for his friends a bit. Also, the comments get filtered, the rude ones have been removed.

I think Andreas Schnaas Zombie 90:Extreme Pestilence is supposed to be Zombie 7. It has the most hilarious dubbing of any movie i have ever seen. As soon as i get a dvd burner i'll mail you a copy. Andreas Schnaas directed the Violent Shit series.

I have to ask those who complain that The Cinema Snob does not go OTT like other reviewers do...why is that a bad thing, I mean we've been used for so long to reviewers who go OTT, isn't it a nice change of pace to watch someone who does not. That's why I've grown to like The Cinema Snob...I mean not everyone can or wants to scream their lungs out at what they review so why should we dismiss someone who does not do that

Can you people please start whining? I didn't know the Cinema Snob before Spoony posted his reviews and I'm very thankful that he did so. I watched all of the Snob's old reviews on his site and I enjoyed it greatly.
Spoony will post a new video as soon as he makes one. Just shut up and wait.

Actually, the scene where the nurse is being burned in the oven is in some way a ripp off of Halloween 2, where some other nurse gets her face burned in the too boiling hot water of the jacuzzi (yeah, don't ask me, why there's a jacuzzi at the hospital)...
