Ecclesiastes 1:9-10

I thought the movie was good.

So looooooooong after you did this review, I've finally seen 'Pandorum' and I have to agree with you Spoony. It's a science fiction horror movie for people who have never seen a science fiction horror movie and, I can well imagine, it will do nothing to encourage them to the genre. I could list a shit ton of movies that are better than this that 'Pandorum' basically regurgitates.

And you know what? I'm one of the few people who actually LIKES 'Event Horizon'. At least it has fucking awesomely creepy moments like Sam Neil holding his own eyes in his hand and saying “Where we're going, you won't need eyes to see…” What the fuck does 'Pandorum' have?!

I'm surprised you didn't mention what many consider the Mother of All “We're In A Flying Basement Being Eaten By Something Lurking In The Damp Sweaty Darkness” Flicks – Alien. Thirty or so years ago, Alien set the standard for all movies about people being picked off one by one in a needlessly claustrophobic science fiction structure filled with mystery pipes, steam and rusted metal. You add a little Alien to a little of The Abyss and a whole lot of The Descent (good movie plus good movie plus crap movie) and you get Pandorum.

XD I agree with you about it being like every other sci-fi film XD

But I like it still. I bought it for 5 bucks and even though I was going “hello sci-fi plot number 5″ I still liked it. All though I haven't seen the Descent.
