Also I was looking on gametrailers last night and I saw a preview for something called “Mystery Case Files:Dire Grove” which looks like it might actually be a new FMV game. Maybe you can riff on that when it comes out an have a new game for a change.

A teacher of mine actually used THAT EXACT PUZZLE on a logic test. Who knew it came from this game? Anyways, that puzzle took 10-year-old me about 5 minutes to solve, because there were so many numbers next to each other I figured it had to be the key. And even then,. my first guess was wrong; I misinterpreted “two nickels” as “2 5″, not “5 5″.

Actually, Spoony, caffeine can cause migraines. Basically anything that alters blood flow to the brain can cause them, and caffeine does just that. (That means even things like sex or exercise can cause them, too.) This is because a migraine is a blood vessel that gathers in the brain and then slowly releases. Ironically, the things that cause migraines can also be used to treat them. Increasing blood flow means the blood vessel can be released faster. This is why caffeine is often used in many migraine medications. (If you can’t tell, I get migraines.)

What the hell do you have against ‘A Scanner Darkly’? Thats a fantastic movie, truly a work of art! One of the best Sci-Fi films ever (and yes, i’m including 2001, Blade Runner and Fifth Element. I truly believe it’s that good)!

You know, I just love how Catherine has all these elaborate laser and crystal locks and equation pass-codes and all that other security nonsense. I mean, forget about the fact when most people think to look for valuable goods in an apartment they wouldn’t even bother to look inside a normal book or a calculator. That is UNTIL YOU PUT A FRIGGING LOCK ON THEM! Also, why bother to even try to solve the lock puzzle? If I was Quinlan I would’ve tackled the locks with a knife or short the out the circuits…

Take 2 included a hint file on the first CD, which gave the solution to the more difficult riddles!

It’s been too long between videos. I can’t remember where it left off. Phantasmagoria videos came out quicker and were more satisfying because of it.

Silly question but…

why install a cryptic high-tech crystal powered laser pointing device (which basically duds if you move itself or the object it is pointing two even the slightest bit) only to have it point at the fake book one would find anyway while conducting even the most perfunctory search of the room? And this fake book is only used as a glorified locked cd case? And a few high-tech hoops later your payoff is getting two surveillance bugs with no useful info at all on them and the likes of which one could have probably acquired through myriad other ways?

Man, this game pisses me off even by proxy.
