Okay, I just watched the finale video, it's linked through the video but not through the site. It's sort of a letdown that the game didn't give you much of an ending, but I certainly congratulate you on finishing another fine Let's Play.

First i didn't know if my post was really send which came to second which i then tried to edit and then the third appeared. Messy. Walken performances are epic. Wow, I remember when you first started doing these ripper things and I just watched about 5 minutes of the second one and got bored, but when u started posting new ones again and i was bored i backtracked and watched all of them and decided it is an awesome thing u do here spoonyone ^_^ Kudos

See, my big problem with this game is the ending. There are multiple, randomized endings, which basically means you can't piece it together on your own. It's set up so that everyone is a suspect until the end, so you constantly second guess yourself, and once you get it it won't matter anyway because it was picked at random.

I just saw the final “Ripper” segment on BlipTV…[MASSIVE SPOILAGE AHEAD!!]…GOD is that ending terrible! The same freakin' shot of the guy typing out his story with a cheap V.O., then another round of “Don't Fear the Reaper” plays the credits off – there's no final soliloquies from any of the characters (at least they could have had Walken say “Quinlin…you're FUCKING unbelieveable” before blowing up), and then that bit of virtual London begins exploding like Kurtz's Cambodian temple from 'Apocalypse Now”….why in the name of Jesus H. Weinstein does a VR program need to explode to erase itself? Leaving that crap behind how in the bloody hell did the girlfriend nearly kill herself to land in the hospital without overdoing it and wind up in the morgue? And if she's a suspect and not an out of left field red herring, is Burgess Meredith still attacked by the Ripper, or was that just some random loony pulling copycat killings? Finally, if the Love Triangleers (Walken, Allen, and Kelly) can't stand each other, why doesn't one of them try to leave the city or tried to years ago? I can see Kelly sticking around just to piss Walken off, but Allen is in the middle – and why would Walken hang around the same town he had so many bad memories of? It's all too sadomasochistic.

Speaking of sadomasochism, Spoony you deserve a medal and $5000 worth of game tokens redeemable at the arcade of your choice. I can't imagine how many man-hours of labor went into playing/recording the game, editing the video into 15-20 minute chunks, then adding a voice-over for each video. It was worth it, even for a game that was dated before Bill Clinton left office.

I myself am guessing its Detective Magnatta.

I mean, he is highly agressive, He beat you then cut himself to make it like you attacked him, he framed a innocent (although psycho) man, he forged and edited the same mans picture to have him executed and he is constantly in your face about everything.

To me, he matches the actions of the killer.

For real… Well i think the picture coming up may still be a fake… Even if the ripper failed to kill her he still could have altered the memory with science i guess…

I mean come on the ripper is smart enough to hack not only computers but PEOPLE! You really think that if a person of this caliber would pick up body blowing as a new hobby he wouldn't at least TRY to not be such an over the top mad men like Detective “I gonna get you and the cut my head, and maybe if your good enough spill my blood all over your face” Magnatta or a jolly old fella who's training for the knife throwing Olympics like Eddie?

For Burton on the other side she does everything to be more or less normal she even says “if the ripper used my notes i'm just as much guilty as he is” which at first may look like the words of an innocent but can also mean she IS the ripper and try to act like a good gal so we don't suspect her that much.

Besides why are we so sure it was the ripper who attacked our girlfriend in distress? What if she IS the ripper? yeah she's young but she has some connection to the first murder and… If i would explain we would be here all day. Really she could have just been attacked by someone who knew what she plans and from then on she used that as a cover up, by hacking the hospital computers faking her comma while she was using those same computers to preform the kills! Heck, if she is it she might have asked someone to attack her.
