I like that there’s always the element of suprise when clicking on one of your videos!
That’s why I really loved Cpt. Smiling Jack… and now that hot blonde chick that looked like you!

Anyway I’m always excited when I visit your site and I see a new video posted so you must be doing something right!
And if you have fun making them too that’s the perfect mix.-

I figured the game took place in the early 90s. To be honest, I always say the 80s didn’t end until ’95. I used to love power rangers, and looking back the characters seemed like they were inspired by the 80s.

I like the video a lot, and I don’t think at “straight” review (no pun intended) on such a girly game would have worked very well. No need to apologize to me sir.

You know what would be a fantastic sequel?

The Weird Science TV show. I’m sure there is enough lame in there to farm for review.

There hasn’t been a weird science game created, tho if your looking for another cheesy 80′s /90′s game for girls you should get mall madness. ( its a game where you go around the mall getting stuff and trying to get them on sale). Its also the first time that credit cards/ bank cards are used in a board game.

Keep up the good work and I’m looking foreword to your pain in reveiwing the rest of the nightmare add-ons

    Fearless Spoony. Simply Fearless

  • Lowcifur

How dare you try to differentiate your videos?! Variety scares me…as does Veronique.

  • Anonymous

I loved the Party Mania skit. And I agree with you regarding variety. It is nice to see some new things like that, so I say go for it. If you just stuck to your default format all the time, there wouldn’t be any surprises, and I welcome surprises, even if they are WTF-inducing.

Okay, I have to point this out – when Canadian Dad (as I've come to call him) is all “I'm going to be cutting the grass! :D :D :D”, he holding an oil can and a hammer. Is that just how they cut grass in Canada?

Curse you! Still no explanation why dr. Insano wasn't a chick (Lady Scarlett's big premiere)
Thick fake eyelashes glued to his goggles would have done the trick for me *grah*

And yes, your resemblance to the left shlumper brother is a bit haunting… made the insano joke believable though…

I don't know if you should be surprised that this review went better with the fans than you expected- its well-made. And as long as one gets over the fact that you are dressed in drag it is highly enjoyable as your (overplayed) acting fited the rest of the actors perfectly.

  • http://www.slowzombies.blogspot.com Slowzombie

And the Foe Yay-vibes between Spoony & Insano grows ever on. That said, the joke mentioned at the end there… just blew my mind. My mind is blown… by that joke.

  • IIWebbII

Fuck yeah! You tell 'em Spoony!
“Die-hard” fans more like moany cunts.
You do what you want to do Spoony, us true fans will stand by you.

    • Sajeh

You do realize that all of this is a joke?

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Daniel-Kirtley/1220135430 Daniel Kirtley

I thought it was quite humorous, and suprisingly you didn't look too scary, lol. I mean, in a dim lit bar and enough liquor…hahaha

  • emptysquare

“You can't take this guy from me,” Your right, it does sound better on paper.

  • Fnork

Good to see an explonation for this weird little thing =) I actually liked the “skit”, made me laugh my ass of =P
I have a question though, you mentioned that “Earth 982″ had different shit, where the hell did you get that information? =O Is there a list of some sort, or did you just make it up? I soo wanna know ^^

  • assiman

This one sure got a lot of negative comments… I thought it was ok, not great, not bad, just fine ^-^

Still, next time I would like to see a real “review”, if you know what I mean.

  • SenorPwnage
  • http://www.myspace.com/firefighternick214 FireFighter214

Thanks for putting your thoughts out there. I thought the review was hilarious. Spoony, when you popped up in drag I almost choked on my hot pocket, and couldn't stop laughing through the rest of the review. It really caught me off guard, and thought it was very brave of you in hindsight. Keep up the experimentation.

  • dolomite84

    You sir, are an artist.

  • SenorPwnage

I'll go ahead and say, even though I'm one of those assholes who left a negative comment, I actually liked the skit. I mean, it's not like this was your Glen or Glenda… OR WAS IT? (It wasn't.)

  • devilfish

It occurs to me that some people take their free funnies way to seriously.

  • CubeheaD

Well good that you explained the game least in this and the cry-babies get to calm down from the “horrrrrrible” shock they did get from the “réviewle”.
But as you said… or kind of I think, a change is a nice once in a while, others the mind gets all numb!

  • devilfish

Not to be a snarkball, but if you liked it, why did you leave a negative review the first time around? Did the Grinch steal your happy?

  • coughman

as to that opening speech, the old addage “You can please some of the people some of time, but you cant please all of the people all of the tim” comes to mind

  • zeroninetyfour

I think that as long as Spoonette doesn't become one of your main gags, we can all remain sane.

  • http://www.facebook.com/MaSQuEdePuSTA Meurant Arthur

I'm doing videos too, in french.
And so I totally understand your thoughts on “creative freedom”: don't let yourself be tied down to a format by people who claim to be fans. If you want to write skits, write skits. I'd say being funny is your forte, and it seems to me that your viewers would rather see you happy to do what you do rather than having the fun of creation taken away from you.
(Have you seen the AVGN these days? He genuinely seems to be miserable.)

Having said that, I'm not sure I could stand seeing Benzaie in drag once more: it really does look too good on that dude. :P

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Joe-Ottoson/100000693361189 Joe Ottoson

That second Schlumper brother kinda looks like a young Lee from Still Gaming.

  • SenorPwnage

Because I'm an asshole. I thought I addressed that.

OK, actually when I say “negative” I don't mean I was outright insulting the video, it's just I took the opportunity to leave a comment picking on it, when I could have said why it was good. I guess I didn't think there would be that many people who honestly didn't like it.

  • coughman

ALSO if you DO ever make a sequel to this, linkara would make an EXCELLENT second schlumper brother

  • http://www.saisasylum.com/ Sai

Are you kidding man? I thought it was great. I mean what else can you do with something so STUPID?

It's good to see you change things up. I mean after all it's called the Spoony EXPERIMENT. Personally I kinda expect there to be different things. And whatever you do you always make it hilarious and entertaining, and in the end that's what really matters isn't it? Just be proud you haven't hit your “Melvin” sketch yet, haha.

Little Kuriboh's a great one to have on board. The way his voice talent evolved over the course of the abridged series (and the way he fathered the whole “abridging” thing) is amazing.

And man I hate when companies try to make “girl games” or “girl” versions of things. It's always so…. sexist. Horribly sexist. There's really no other word for it. This was probably made by a bunch of grown men sitting around trying to figure out what teenage girls like. Ah don't kid yourself, late 80's and early 90's sorta overlapped in a very very strange time. It doesn't really matter.

Lol forum people. The “hardcore” fans are always going to be that way no matter who you are.

  • rosenrot234

eh just make videos how you want to make them. i'll watch ^^. no harm done with trying something different

maybe you can try the Saved By The Bell board game. i dont recall a video but i vaguely remember playing it with a friend one day. first thing that popped into my head for possible sequels. but hey, if a sequel for this doesnt come up thats okay too :)

  • ohmrice

For this game I wouldn't have liked the review any other way. I enjoyed much of what people disliked about it! I guess I'm one of those shameless people who likes to see cross overs all the time. Cross overs with drag.

  • Daffy1

I'm just gonna put this out there. Weird Science had a whole TV show spin off. If you can find it, I think it would make great review fodder.

I didn't think the video was bad… Just disturbing. It's just that drag creeps me out. I still found it funny, though. So, good job!

  • robertmillion

I don't know about a Weird Science video game, but maybe you should go after the Weird Science TV show! Its pretty cheesy.

  • Burncan

The whole 'aboot' accent is more Minnesotan than Canadian.

    Funny video though.

  • midnightvoyager

I feel your pain, Spoony. I run hot anyway, and… god, getting on stage or under lights is just a total sweatfest. If you're making your own costumes, there are ways to keep the costume cool. Problem is, if you're borrowing parts or using things you don't want to mess with… Yeah, you're stuck. Wigs are also a pain for that reason. (I got around layering in one costume by finding short-sleeved dress shirts and sewing a shirt cuff into the end of a jacket and using a suit vest instead of a suit coat. Under a full coat. Yeah. Friggin hot costume.)

I gotta compliment Benzaie on the boobs, though. Nice and perky!

  • urza22000

i'm not opposed to different ways of doing the reviews and such but no offense Spoony but you don't make a very good chick.

  • shinea_iggy

I actually really liked the style of this review! You mixed it up a bit, and it was really fun to watch. I have to say, the last thing I was expecting was you popping up the on the screen in a blonde wig and make-up. And holy crap, I almost died laughing with Benzai's bit. :)

  • landofunk

My only experience of thinking “Canadians are behind” in regards to pop culture was going to Whistler, BC with a friend in 2008 and at the bar they were playing “Chef's Chocolate Salty Balls” from South Park..and I just kept thinking “Wasn't this popular on the radio in the US like 4 years ago?” it was bizarre.

  • Oskuro

Ignore the nay-sayers, Spoony, the only true way to be wrong is to never try.

And the female alters were great. Keep it up!

  • landofunk

Oh its Canadian too..They make fun of it on South Park all the time.

    • Anonymous

Oh, it’s definitely a Canadian stereotype. In reality though, it’s pretty rare in Canada.

    • Anonymous

  • DerKork

I'll repeat what I stated before:
I genuinely enjoyed this 'vlog' from Earth-982's Spoony equivalent. Heck, I laughed out loud all the time since it was so strange, so overwhelming. (And I seldomly laugh out loud uncontrollably. Ask anyone who knows me.) That's something the game itself would have had a hard time to do, being filled with clichè after cliché after clichê.
The cameos were well done. Unfortunately 80s Girl looked as if the hair dryer exploded in her face that day, but Benzaie was pretty convincing as a french girl.
So, Spoony, do what you can do best – entertain us (but don't forget to be entertained yourself. It sucks if you have the feeling you do something you don't enjoy.)

  • http://www.facebook.com/Treima Jimi Alexander

    I enjoyed it, FWIW.

It is hillarious “In America” lol yeah I would say its Canadian or something you would find on PBS, same difference…The ending had me rolling…Hey if you do a Weird Science review don't forget about the original begining where Gary and Wyatt are talking about Frankenstien while watching it, also it spun of a TV series as well which was pretty decent as far as “Dr. Insanos brother” you could use clips from Beekmans World (phucking creepy) or Bill Nye the Sceince guy…hell you could continue from the Phyciatrists office explaining he got hit by a car walking to the party or you turned him into a newt…just giving out ideas man…but dude I have been having outbursts of laughter when I think about the Party Mania Reveiw…and it is a review…what I'm saying is your right changing stuff up is cool yaknow…characters experiencing the game/film may be more entertaining than you narrating…blah I'm sure you've got tons of stuff on your aggenda here are some review ideas…idk just saying… Not Quite Human, Short Circuit, Batteries Not Included, Howard The Duck… oh and Mischief Makers<—-LOL

  • http://bwmedia.wordpress.com/ ShadowWing Tronix

I wouldn't try messing with Bill Nye. Nye will mess you up something fierce. He may not look like it, but he will.

  • http://bwmedia.wordpress.com/ ShadowWing Tronix

That was half the fun of the show, though. Was it as good as the movie? No. But it was leagues better than “They Came From Outer Space”, which granted is rather easy to do.

  • http://bwmedia.wordpress.com/ ShadowWing Tronix

I wouldn't call it a review, either. On the other hand, I enjoyed it and that's all I care about. :D

  • http://bwmedia.wordpress.com/ ShadowWing Tronix

I hear you, Sai, and yet you pretty much just walked into a comic I posted Sunday. Girly girls should get their games, too.

    • http://www.saisasylum.com/ Sai

I’m willing to bet you were never a little girl who played video games. I was.

It’s a vicious cycle really, execu-types dream up the content for the “target demographic” of little girls, and little girls view this media and assume this is what they’re expected to like. Being a girl who was already into games I could see these games sucked balls and didn’t play them. It would be possible to make a GOOD girly game and has been done on occasion, but more often than not they’re a cheap byproduct of a boy’s club trying to figure out how to make a game “for girls” while ignoring cues they could take from successful mainstream games that have been shown to appeal widely to women.

Ok, last response, I promise: Why not get Spoony's ACTUAL brother to play Insano's brother?

  • zmfl

You did nothing wrong by making this into a sketch, or by making the Roland thing into a… thing.
    Just keep it random :)

    Btw, that’s Kaylee? Whoa…

  • sassamura

Ok, but what about SQUALL'S DEAD

  • Oskuro

I was thinking… Is this character the….. SPOONETTE?

As for (possible) sequelage, there has been a lack of girls' alternate guy modes. Try to lure Marz or Goggles into this the next time ;)

  • djfusion

lol it's funny how you misknow canada. I'm personally for Québec and we are live our life mostly like americans except for some things like heath care ect.. but for the most part it's the same thing

  • Salenstormwing

Oh, I so hope we get to see a sequel to this. Dr. Insano Schlumper was freakin' hilarious with the whole reasoning behind his desire to use SCIENCE! But a Weird Science review? That would almost require Dr. Insano to explain why wearing bras on one's head is required to bring a Barbie Doll to life. This needs to happen. Please let this happen.

  • AyumuNorumi

OMFG HE DIDN'T DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If anything Cid is Squall and Matron is Rinoa so FIGURE THAT OUT GAH FINAL FANTASY ATE SUCKS AND YOU SUCK FOR LIKING IT! Okay if there was an actually point to Final Fantasy VIII then why do the game clock continuously loop??? it just changes colors it never stops…

  • thegreatmidday

Ok, first I want to state that I agree with you in this point: you are totally free to try whatever kind of review you want.

There is a conflict here: In one hand you are free to make whatever kind of video, you are free to performe, to create your characters, and do whatever kind of video you want. There is need to change, to improve, to doesn't get repetitive, there is need of experiment. And I totally agree that this is necessary.

But in other hand: it was your ''classic'' way to review, that made you ''the funniest guy on internet'' ho-ho. So “you don't chance a winning team”.

I think the best would be to find a way to mix both new ideas with the ''classic'' style as an experiment. I see you really care about the complains of some of your fans so I think this ''will make everyone have happy''.

In this particular review I believe that was missed some of the game interface, gameplay, bugs, and everything that you usually make jokes. I find Doctor Insano performance was great improved, compared to the old videos, congratulations.

    • Anonymous

Its one episode. I hardly call that an indicator that he’s entirely dropped his classic review style. In short relax. His videos are free and Im sure most of his reviews will still be of the classic format.

  • ThomasMink

If any of your videos needed a commentary, it was this one. Not saying I didn't enjoy watching it.. but the overall feeling of 'wtf?' was still lingering there. I mean, I expected you to appear in women's clothing when it was first announced.. but it was so not what I was expecting. Liked the video, but I probably liked the commentary here more.. which is probably a bit odd, but whatever.

Linkara's 80's Chick was awesome though.. with the teased out 'hair metal' hair. That had me rolling when I first saw it.

  • hrf5gd

So, I just watched the party mania video less than 10 minutes ago and, as previously stated, I absolutely loved it. I mean LOVED it. Now granted I am a relatively “new” fan and I also happen to be female which may add a lot to how I view this. I agree, there have been a lot of recent change-ups from spoony that I just flat out haven't really gotten, like the Madness of Rolland montage (I got the ring bit, it just didn't really do much for me), however I completely support attempts to bring new things to the table. This video really hit it out of the park for me and my respect for spoony as a writer and an artist has really increased. Spoony's drive to stay fresh and original will always garner my support and will keep me interested in what's coming next.

  • lastsigma

I personally thought the video was awesome. I prefer an internet…. show[?] that isn't just a retread of the same old thing. I fully encourage you to do stuff and see how it works.

As far as this video is concerned, I have a couple of points on both ends. I would've liked a tiny bit more Doctor Insano possibly pulling back to reveal who he was talking to and the “You can't take this guy from me” joke was even missed by me [I'm a huge Firefly geek]. To make that a little more noticeable, if you'd like to fix it, just put in the pickup strum from Firefly just before the opening credits.

As a converse to the negative, I'd like to say this review was pretty clear. They mentioned chore cards and you can kind of assume that since Spoonette is in the blagole you can assume that this game is similar in design to Nightmare. So much so that talking about the mechanics is pointless. The commentary basically confirmed what I already assumed and that assumption is what makes the video enjoyable. Basically, the people who are complaining aren't very bright and want a predictable experience that meets their expectations.

I liked the 80's Chick gag and this was a fairly creepy overall. I even noticed a couple of possibly unintentional Frank Zappa lines “Gag me with a spoon” which could also be a double entendre for something best left never mentioned. The vide had a lot of overt and subtle humor which I really should say is my only expectation in terms of your videos.

Keep making them, we'll keep watching them.

  • http://www.facebook.com/hbentonjr Henry Benton Jr

Loved the video, I about fell over laughing once Benzaie showed up.

Though if you wanted to sort of keep that science theme going for a possible sequel, there was always that Isaac Asimov's Robots VHS board game, though maybe you did that one already.

  • sniktbub

I liked this review. It was kind of traumatizing for the first minute or so seeing you in drag, but you really sold it and the video was hilarious. The ending with Insano was sheer brilliance…and those Schulmper brothers…creepy as hell xD

  • Bondpirate

Every now and then when I meet a Canadian visiting down here in Florida (brrr I'm so cold here with my 60+ degree weather brrr) I have to ask if it's true that its basically America from ten years ago and that everyone goes on about their boots. After they think it over, they usually say yes.

  • Bondpirate

I second this! And by Roberts Rules of Order I motion to pass this proposal.

  • jahith

ehhh I'm not against change or against your evolution but you have something that works and you just trow it out the window here. YOU HURT ME. I was always looking forward to your insanity to the delusions to this schizo-fear you play out so well in the Slammies V-log. I felt so happy then like you know and understand this color that is insanity, the 9'th color of the rainbow. But in this “review” you just hurt me with boredom. I watch you to be entertained and then you pulled this on me to turn me into a fucking plant <sobs>

  • mobtank

Spoony, don't sweat it man, I really liked this video and I am all for variety.
Besides, this is your place, you are free to do whatever you want with it. People who whine on something just because it's different are very narrow minded IMO.

  • http://twitter.com/riftwolf Mathew Presley

My only gripe with this video was when I saw it announced that Spoony would be partying with his lady friends, I was half-expecting spoony, scarlet and some other ladies to re-enact the inevitably lame party scene : guess you can't have everything.

  • http://twitter.com/iaro Isobel Allegra

I really loved this review, Spoony! Just like you said, it's good to break your usual format and challenge yourself. Keep up the good work!

  • Bondpirate

As others have already said, IT'S THE SPOONY EXPERIMENT PEOPLE! NOT THE SPOONY DOES A COUPLE VIDEOS THEN NEVER DOES ANYTHING ELSE DIFFERENTLY BECAUSE WE FEAR CHANGE! CHANGE! ANYONE GOT CHANGE! COMMON HELP A GUY OUT WILL YA! … whoa, did an improper segue there to who knows where. Anyway Spoony, we love ya and I am sad learning in your commentary that there probably wont be a continued video (tear drop) to this.

And for people who don't understand all the hubbub about the non-review (which I thought previously the game would be explained in part 2, BUT I at least wait till after I finish viewing a video before going on a comment blitzkrieg) you should check out this link at your own risk [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/TheyChangedItNowItSucks]

PS: I thought that was New Kids On The Block but didn't want to risk turning in my man card at the risk of being right (or wrong)

  • TomeOne

Variety is the spice of life. Good on you, Spoonster!

Keep the ghastly 90's schlock coming. :)

  • http://twitter.com/eyeinabottle eyeinabottle

That review was really funny. Maybe it's because I haven't been there a long time enough, but I've watched most of your stuff here and I'm not expecting a particular format, so … suck it ! It was funny, that's what matters. Thanks for doing what you do, it's really entertaining. Keep it up !

  • http://www.facebook.com/MattSki.whostolemyname Matthew E. Milcznski

    Well, I don't know about anyone else, but… I liked it. :)

  • brycebailey

I personally like that you're thinking out of the box noah and found the video hilarious, keep up the creativity.

  • brycebailey

I personally think the change of pace is funny noah, keep up the creativity.

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Michael-Blayney/683346875 Michael Blayney

That party made Utah look like Oakland.

  • nekoxgirl

I thought it was funny. Considering how ridiculous that game seems, I really think it works better making it into a skit instead of trying to reivew it in a more conventional way.

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Richard-Fernandez/1374020101 Richard Fernandez

I'm an old school fan and I really enjoyed this sketch. It was hilarious and it was still Spoony quality :D

  • Creepy Kiki

:-P on the whiners. I loved this review/sketch/whatever.

  • Needs_Moar_Desu

That's ridiculous that people are actually *complaining* about the Party Mania video. I thought it was great, even though your Valley Girl accent needs some work (I'm the master at the valley girl accent, so most people don't live up to my standards).

BTW- there's this board game called 'Sweet Valley High', its from 1987 and based of the popular series of books (read about them on Wikipedia, they're freaking insane), which I own, and I think it might lend itself well to a sequel to the Party Mania video. Of course it doesn't have a VHS with it, though….

I'm curious to see what happens with the other Schlumper (sp) brother. Will you get YOUR brother to play him?

  • Bosh_Depanzer

    Yeah. Still a little disturbing.

  • dudeboobs

I agree it wasn't really a review but I don't agree that it wasn't funny. It WAS funny, just didn't really go in depth about the aspects of the game is all.

Oh God…I never noticed the “sky from me” joke. I thought that she looked familiar, but I did not pick up that she was the lovable wrench wench.

All in all, it was solid entertainment that is a definite change of pace. I can understand people getting salty, but they gotta lighten up. I did like the cameos, especially the Gatekeither and his subtle “and I'm taking your wiener.”

The Mystery Science Theatre reference was Space Mutiny, not Zombie nightmare.

Also, I'm canadian.. i get every joke you made :(

No I’m pretty sure it was zombie nightmare.

Oh yeah if Spoony wants a weird science-esque bad thing to review, someone of influence please nudge him in the direction of the bad movie “Frankenhooker” – because he probably will not read my post.

  • thegreatmidday

Man, that nerd with the shoes really annoys me, he is terrible amateur actor, and he thinks that he is funny… really. He is not funny, and he looks to be gay.

  • thedickster

I don't think you really needed to explain yourself… well… maybe to a few, but I understood your reasoning. In fact I couldn't help but laugh because this was one of the funniest things you've made! Your depiction of an 80's/Canadian 90's girl was hilarious!!! “OH MY GOD, my dad is such a dork!” I can't get over that!!!! But I still love your reviews, cause when I first saw this, I had NO idea that it was a game or how it worked, but… wow… still hilarious.

And I still stand by my “scarier then Chris Farley, Adam Sandler and David Spade in drag”

  • sebasnadilo

I love that you change so much the format. I dont like critics that stay in the same way the whole way. I think you got some big ball to change so much…and to dress like a teenage girl, I wasnt shock to see benzaei as a girl. It was very thoughtfull to know some history of Dr. Insano- Now we know why he is so crazy. I think it was one of the best reviews in the last month…I think there are some crazy people out there. but you keep making this kind of videos once in a while…If there is anyway to descrive this video Its something like this….”ONLY IN AMERICA”
I know I maybe annoying but WHats your oppinion on Sins of a solar empire? let us know
    THanks for the laughts

  • murderouscow

Quite frankly I'm glad you try to switch stuff up on us Spoony. Better to do that then just be lame and use the same jokes over and over again like that Nostalgia Critic douche. (Just kidding if you can see this I love ya Doug!)

  • MetalNick

I thought the video was kind of funny but the whole “valley girl” was kind of overplayed. I do appreciate that you're trying out new things. One thing I really did like about the video is that you interacted with the characters from the video effectively, even more so than your previous videos (like in Knightmare.) That's what I hope to see incorporated into future videos.

No fault in trying something different, the website is called “The Spoony EXPERIMENT” after all, not “The Spoony REVIEWS”

I honestly didn't mind the lack of detailing of the actual game. Considering the vapid nature of the game, I naturally assumed there was nothing much there. Like Dragon Strike, the real star of the game is the video tape

And I'll be honest, I'd love to have a setup like Schlumper Bros. too

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Sebastian-Proano/610127942 Sebastian Proaño

As a matter of fact the “take the guy from me” joke works awesome once you figure that out who the “midget bitch” is…

    I knew she seemed familiar.

  • PatmanForever51

Yeah, the eighties didn't come to Canada until about '92.

  • notyoursavior78

I get what you were doing there, but yeah it wasn't really my thing, but it is your show and you can do what you like. I don't feel like I was offended or anything hehe I do like the more traditional reviews or the commentaries.

  • Princess Stabbity

Despite the fact I found the Party Mania vid hilarious, I did wonder about that missing Schlumper brother… It worried me.
I think this hits home for me because I so wanted this damn game back in the day. All I can say now is thank god my mother denied me it.
Brilliant job all around though. You killed me and my friends dead.
Now I want to know if you'll torture yourself with other “girl games”.

I can’t believe people would bitch to you about the FREE entertainment you are doing for FUN. Fuck ‘em. I thought it was hilarious, and I hope you do more like this in the future! And if anybody whines, they are entirely free to stop watching the video and go do something else.

Keep being awesome, and thanks again for the FUN and FREE entertainment you are providing!

    The internets are serious business.

Variety is the spice of life, fuck the haters.

I have to admit though, until this explanation, I didnt realise it was a board game!

  • Booze Zombie

For me, the Party Mania was hit and miss.

I laughed at some parts, but the scenes from the actual game just make me cringe… I guess that's the point, but I didn't really enjoy those parts.

I mean, you're obviously “taking the piss” out of this and that's hilarious, but I just can't laugh at a lot of the scenes actually from the game.
I just can't stand akward stuff, I guess.

  • http://wherenoangel.livejournal.com/ wherenoangel

This was one of my favorite episodes. There's something extremely surreal about seeing 3 nerds in drag in the same video.

As for the other Schlumper brother, maybe Linkara's most recent character, Dr Linksano, is Oscar all grown up.

  • Reika

Dr. Insano “creates” a woman = Miss Scarlette :] I want to see this happen.

  • TheRandomOne

Spoony really thinks LK's abriged series is awesome? That about the coolest thing Iv'e ever heard, lol. Iv'e been following both LK's series and Spoony for ahwile now, and just to see them doing stuff in the same video, made it awesome right away. Its good to know that someone as smart as Spoony though realizes how much effort Little Kuriboh puts into the series, and how just awesome it is. Cause hey making Yu-Gi-Oh hilarious is hell of job on its own.

  • Colme

As a Canadian, I'm rather offended here. I understand most of the jokes are meant to be harmless, especially Spoony's, but the comments are verging on hateful. We're not America 10 years ago, we don't really even say 'aboot' and we only occasionally even say 'eh'.

If anything we're America ten years in the future. Free health care, same sex marriage and no Iraq. I'm likely overreacting here and you honestly are not trying to be hateful, but I don't apriciate it.

  • StJoseph

Im sure it wasnt suppose to represent canada as being stuck in the 80s. instead its suppose to be spoony stuck in 80s canada..which id have to assume you guys were probably just as goofy as us back then.

If youre going to say canada is america 10 years in the future dont try and add free health care. it might be free up there but its not as good as ours and you know it.

Heres some interesting reading for you. http://www.hoover.org/publications/digest/49525

  • http://www.youtube.com/deathwing107 deathwing107

I'd be VERY careful adding politics to any discussion, Colme. Especially be wary of comparing countries. You will NEVER EVER win, no one does.

And in all honesty, I take high offense to saying that Canada is America ten years in the future. That Nationalist bullshit is what starts wars, more or less a heated argument.

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Joe-Ottoson/100000693361189 Joe Ottoson

You're being awfully optimistic there. The US with a single payer health care system within 10 years? We'll be out of Iraq? You give us too much credit. (Or not enough depending on your political bent I suppose.)

That said, I don't think it was an especially strong commentary on Canada that Spoony was offering. As far as it went, I think it didn't amount to much more than a fashion jape at worst. Or else he was possibly calling you 10 years more polite.

  • ScutigeraColeoptrata

Hey, we Canadians don't like the 80s and 90s because we are behind the US, we like them because they were better than now, and DON'T TRY TO DENY IT! What you talking aboot Spoony?

But yeah, a lab in my room would be sweet. Maybe I'll let Spoony try it first and try it myself in about 10 years or so. On the note of the Schlumper brothers though, the other brother looks a bit like Linkara (if you use your imagination), so maybe you guys could tie this in to his version of Insano. Or not, either way is fine.

Little Kuriboh is indeed awesome, and I am very happy to see him doing crossovers with you guys. I thought this video was funny, and I didn't mind that it broke the format. After all, if this stuff becomes a chore, it probably won't be much fun for anyone involved, and good clean fun is what we Canadians are all aboot. So yeah, I say do whatever you want with your show on your site.

So where is Final Fantasy 8, eh?

  • dsprox

Forget all those nay sayers dissing your review, the video was hysterical and the performances were great. I would love to see a sequel with the other schlumper brother.

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Matthew-Dive/832364247 Matthew Dive

I didn't hate this at all, but it did come out of nowhere for me and seeing Spoony in drag left me bewildered and a little scared for a few minutes. Then Linkara and Benzaie turned up and I ran screaming from the room xD

But hey! I don't mind a little freakout every now and then.

  • degausser

I know that you said you weren't LOOKING to make a sequel, but your review reminded me of this Gem from 1990, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VuDFZQpu4Qk, a game where you are supposed to shop around (using your parent's credit card, no doubt) to get ready for something suitably teenage, I'm sure. Anyway it has a talking computer and everything. I've never seen played the game (thankfully) but I remembered the commercial, and at first I thought your review was for this game.

I realize it isn't your typical fare as it has no video to go with it, but it's still a thought if you want to take it into consideration.

  • Vina

I'd have loved to hear more about your transformation into a Valley Girl. Scarlett is some kind of a miracle worker!

  • ImpudentInfidel

Are you going to do the Star Trek TNG version? It's much closer to the regular Nightmare version. Basically a klingon yells at you and you win if you manage to shoot him.

  • http://twitter.com/Emperor_Z Zach Williams

I have no problem with switching things up. Feel free to mix things up a bit and experiment. I have no problem with you trying out a sketch like this, buuuuuuut, hopefully this won't be a review style you settle on…

  • Strelnikov

You've got to give us a sequel, if just so that Spoony can return to his normal reality. Actually, now that I heard your explanations for the gameplay of this turd I can see why you went the sketch route; it would be dull as hell to watch you explain the game because it lacks a strong character you can work off from (like the Gatekeeper.)

And now you're gonna make me terrorize my poor sick wife, becuase you got me on another Firefly kick Spoony =P.

  • DerKork

I have that game somewhere… with the stickers, the holodeck cards, the plastic “stasis field” tubes, the VHS tape (in german)… And it's starring that guy who came to be known as Gowron (it's the same makeup and headpiece) to Star Trek fans – his bulging eyes make him extremely recognizable…

  • Niffy

I liked yer Party Mania Review! It was really funny to me. xD
And different too. I thought it was a good way to go in this review, it was more interactive with the game and everything just seemed to fit.

  • TheEvrantKnight

Sorry for complaining about it the other day. i guess i kind of nether realised you were getting bored of doing the same old thing and just wanted to switch it up from time to time. to be honest i thought at first you were going Insano, but in reality you just wanted to take a new direction to the show.

  • http://www.facebook.com/melissa.j.neal Melissa J. Neal

My fiance and I were watch the Party Mania review and started reminiscing on old board games. He brought up one that I had completely forgotten about but played when I was younger. Electronic Dream Phone. You played clue cards to find out who your secret admirer was then called the number on the card with the phone that came with the game. Ha! There's an idea for a sequel, stick Spoony in that wig and pink shirt and have him play that for twenty minutes. :P

  • Animikean

I liked it Spoony, but I'm a sucker for elseworlds so there you go :)

Political discussions are only the sort of thing to draw flames, yes.

But tour allowed to draw high offence to me saying that while I'm to take everyone saying the opposite in good taste? I don't pretend to be able to compare to culturally and politically diverse countries. I more or less made the point solely to shine a light on a bit of hipocracy, I knew it would annoy someone, which leads to the point how is me saying that any less acceptable then you nay-saying anything about Canada.

And don't get me wrong, I'm sure nobody meant anything by it. I just don't like it.

    • http://www.youtube.com/deathwing107 deathwing107

The US and its citizens is the butt of many a joke and insult, some of which is deserved. I’d be the first to point that out. CitizenSnips2 hit it head on, you brought up politics when it wasn’t called for in the first place. You made an irrational and offensive judgment that was COMPLETELY uncalled for. You overtly insulted an entire country without virtually any knowledge of what you were talking about.

You have every right not to like a joke and say you don’t, but your irrational comparison was, once again, COMPLETELY unneeded. And Personally I feel you overreacted about the Canadian jokes in the first place, but I would have been completely fine with you just saying you didn’t like them, I wouldn’t have even bothered to comment. But adding what you did to it just pushed it too far. PLEASE learn not to be so overly sensitive.

      • Anonymous

Honestly, I think your being a tad heavyhanded in your responses. I’m being rather light hearted about this, and admittedly overreacted. You seem to be taking this more seriously then it deserves to be, I should be able to make a joke at America’s expense if you may at my country. So I did. And it meant just as little.

Also, in an honest point, maybe refrain from the caps lock? I understand what it’s supposed to imply but it appears rather silly. Sorry to have offended you though, if you were though you understand how offhand points can be bothersome, yes?

        • http://www.youtube.com/deathwing107 deathwing107

I don’t appreciate your attitude (In relation to your 2nd paragraph). I use caps lock to get the feeling across. Best I can do to express that through text. I could have just as easily left it on and typed the whole message that way, and I know how unpopular that is.

Back to the main point… You didn’t seem lighthearted in your original post. To be more specific why I got worked up, it was the ego. I see that same ego from politicians in this country. And I absolutely hate it. That elitist way of thinking is what divides people, the whole “I’m better than you” attitude. But don’t get me wrong, I know the US is going through rough times, we’re not perfect and I never gave that implication that we were.

Also, in relation to what you said… “I should be able to make a joke at America’s expense if you may at my country.” I never said you couldn’t. I do it all the time. I didn’t see a joke in your original post, or any indication of one. What was typed looked serious. So don’t put words in my mouth.

  • Colme

Again, your more or less correct. I'm just a little too partial to that 'nationalist bullshit' I suppose.

  • hwalsh

I'm pretty sure Colme it was just a joke. Besides, and this is just from my personal observations from traveling to many different countries, the US tends to be the front runner of pretty much all trends. Yes. Canada is about a decade or so behind in terms of adopted trends, it isn't hateful, it simply is about location.

If it is any consolation when I was in Tokyo in 2006 I actually found a disco club. Those guys are about three decades behind the US.

Aside from that… Hell… I'd PREFER the 80's. Fashion was more… Colorful… Music was optimistic (hell, music was downright uplifting in the 80's, in the 90's it became all about whining and cutting ones self.)… And movies tended to simply be better… I mean… Come on… The 80's gave us classics like Back to the Future, Conan the Barbarian, The Terminator, and the greatest movie of all time The Breakfast Club. Don't even get me started on how much American cartoons sucked in the 90's compared to the 80's… We had some good things in the 90's… But back then there were just tons.

Haha yeah, this review took me back to Mall Madness and that insane dream date phone game when I was little, so I was a little biased in loving the “Party Mania” review. I also enjoy laughing and men in drag (oddly enough, I’m not British), so I dug this. If people truly gave you crap about a fun change of pace… well, that’s on them. They’re lamer than cleaning the house, baby-sitting the Jerry Maguire kid AND piano practice rolled all into one.

Sha, I think they’re just bitter that they’re mega-ultra-bummers that never got invited to any rad, awkward white kids trying to dance parties, eh.

You are way too hard on yourself. You took a lot of risks creatively and I think they paid off. This was hilarious. While I enjoy your reviews (I was introduced to you by a friend just as you were finishing your Final Fantasy series), I also like how you're willing to experiment so the material you're reviewing becomes more than just a thing to be mocked. It also helps that I'm into 80s nostalgia big time. Keep up the good work. It's appreciated.

  • http://cassave.deviantart.com/ Cassavius

What's not to like about this review? It's got Spoony, Benzaie and Linkara in drag! With make-up!

    In America!

  • CitizenSnips2

Honestly when Americans make fun of Canadians, it really is just teasing. Its little things like making fun of your fashion or the aboot thing (which as far as I know, is only said in parts of Canada, not the entire thing). For the most part Americans like Canadians and you guys really arent very different culturally save perhaps in your politics. Its simply fun to tease. Now if you really wanted to see mean spirited national insulting, you should try being an American, and we're not talking the tongue and cheek variety. People outright hate Americans and will go out of their way to vent their anger in just about any internet forum you see. The only other people who really catch as much crap would maybe be the French.

  • Anonymous

*stunned pause* …Wow, I will say only one thing on the video itself. I never thought I’d compare you Spoony to ‘womanly’ but between you and Linkara and Benzaie you are without a doubt the most womanly of the bunch. No Offense :P
However, I’m really surprised on how good you say the game actually is. It always came off as a really bad cash in on the 10 yr old girl ‘I want to be like big sister’ demographic, and it was. Oh God it was. But at least it was fun in it’s own way.

I do support the new trick you did by taking the sketch approach to this one. Looking at the game it probably wouldn’t have been as funny with you just playing it and commenting. Did you have anyone else you tried to get to dress in drag for this bit?

  • CitizenSnips2

The reason it seems a bit poor taste is because while Spoony and MST3K were generally giving tongue and cheek jokes about Canadian fashion, you are bringing up politics and wars which is a hell of a lot more serious and far from teasing. As a side note since you brought politics up, theres no such thing as “free” health care, its just health care someone else pays for. Considering the US is about $12.4 trillion dollars in debt, its not really a good time for huge expansions of government. You might not like it but thats our culture. Generally Americans like small government, low regulation and a strong private sector.

    • Anonymous

I’ll state again. This point wasn’t at all an honest critique of American politics, it was just me pointing out that offhand comments about a culture can be bothersome. Though I was having a rather bad day, so I hope you can forgive my initial comments being a tad more extreme then truly apropriate.

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Matthew-Hill/1495231329 Matthew Hill

well I liked it… (the 80s would have continued into the 90s if it wasn't for grunge)

I'm very glad for the format change. Seeing you expand and experiment is always interesting. I wish you didn't feel the urge to apologize for it.

And thank you for the commentary. I always love hearing your thought process.

That is an awful pun, Noah, you should be ashamed.

  • fmdof

i'm sorry. i just don't get the point on reviewing your review. Oh i mean, add commentary. I've noticed you've done it a few times now. I mean i can understand taking a look back at your first few reviews, and what not. But reviewing your brand new review, just seems pointless.

  • 1337pete

It's probably already been mentioned but I'm too lazy to read comments by other fans whose comments are nowhere near my comments but, there was a similar game, if I recall, called Girl Talk. And maybe one about a mall. I don't know, I'm a little fuzzy about that one. I don't think they have videos, though.

  • http://bwmedia.wordpress.com/ ShadowWing Tronix

I think we finally met the other brother in this week's “Atop the Fourth Wall”. Linksano is a match for the brother on our right, and Insano is the one on the left. Insano/Linksano were messing with hypertime for a family reunion. :)

  • http://bwmedia.wordpress.com/ ShadowWing Tronix

  • pawcanada84

At the risk of sounding like a yes man, I enjoy most of the reviews you do. I'll admit I've always prefered the more “story driven ones” (especally if they involve Insano. He's awesome!), but at the same time even if you just sit down and talk about something for twenty minutes, I find your editing and writting skills make it enjoyable. I understand not everyone will like all your work. I can't say I've gotten into the Lets Play stuff you do (no offence), but I'm not going to bad mouth you or insult your time, effort and hard work just becuase of it. I'll check it out and give it a try, but if it doesn't click it doesn't click. I'll just wait till the next vid as I know it'll be worth it.

Like others said, I like the fact you're willing to take a risk. It makes things much more interesting than those who play it safe by doing the same thing week in, week out.

  • http://www.facebook.com/meusburger.m Martin Meusburger

Oh come on Spoony, don't blame it on the heat.

Take credit for your emotions. A man shouldn't be ashamed of being in touch with his feminine side and sharing a tear once in a while.

Honestly though, Kudos for wearing that wig and costume if it really was that hot.

  • Anonymous

I think you should make Linkara the right Schlumper brother and Insano as the left. I mean you could see the left one growing up as you and the right one becomeing Lewis.
It could be the next big reveal after the Poyo thing that Linkara and Dr. Insaino are secret brothers.

  • Azrael87

So with that appearance of Linksano in Atop the Fourth Wall so soon after this video, I have to wonder if that was the planned fate of the second Schlumper brother. If not, that's a spectacular and convenient coincidence that leaves a great opening for an eventual Schlumper/Insano Bros. reuinion.

I think this was a great way to cover the game without completely rehashing the Nightmare review. Inventive and funny, and a slightly frightening insight into how the game makers viewed teen girls back then. And a slightly frightening view of how many probably actually did act. :o

Also, even though I love the show, the Firefly joke went right over my head. But once you explained it, it absolutely killed me. Brilliant piece of humor that no one caught. ;)

…Wow, I will say one thing about the video. I never thought I would associate Spoony with 'womanly' but beside Linkara and Benzaie he's without a doubt the girliest of the bunch. No Offense :P
However, I am surprised that the game was actually enjoyable. I always saw as a really bad cash in for the 10 yr old 'Be like big sister' demographic and it is. Oh god, is it one. But it at least has it's stupid fun relatively solid.

This wasn't my absolute favorite ep ever , but it was unique and the ending mostly payed for the slight uncomfortableness of it all.
But I think that the game probably wouldn't had been as entertaining or as fun to watch if it was just a straight review, so I applaud the unique twist.
As a final pestering, was there anyone else you tried to get to crossdress for this bit and was there any real changes as you made this you didn't mention?

Hey, Spoons – quit apologizing for not allowing yourself to get into a rut and wanting to expand on your ideas…

I thought the Party Mania video was funny as all get out – even if did, for me, bring back those terrible memories of the 80's and 90's….

  • ThatWeirdGuy

You really shouldn't feel the need to apologize every time you do something fun for yourself like the review.

Plus I thought it was hilarious. Don't feel like you need to just do vlog-like reviews for people to find you funny. :)

  • GunarmDyne

I just noticed something, Spoony, but isn't the kid who plays the Schlumper brother who looks like you and the one from Make My Video: Marky Mark & the Funky Bunch who looks like you actually one and the same?

  • Anonymous

Is it me, or does the Schumpher bros. sound alot like Steve Urkel?

  • http://twitter.com/DyloniusFunk Dylan Stalnaker

Screw the haters Spoony, this video was funny stuff. I remember those old LD games but i never heard of this one. Good call on the Zombie Nightmare joke.

  • http://twitter.com/Yadokingu Sag Ichnet

Don't let the haters get you down. The party mania review was one of the funniest things you ever did. Maybe you shouldn't have called it review to not anger your old fans, but oh well hindsight is 20/20.

Btw. I recognised little Jewel Staite without knowing that she was in that game. Imo she looks just the same in it as she looks today, just a little older. Really not hard to recognise her. I'm surprised you had a hard regcognising her despite the fact that you knew that she was in there.
And yeah the firefly joke was really really bad. You probably should have made it a little longer and sung it, then we would have recognised it as such. ;)

  • Disthron

I have to say, I really loved the Insaino bit at the end. I think he's the long-black-haired one. ^_^

I have to say this was kind of weird and I was kind of waiting for you to go into your review proper but I'm glad you are still having fun with your videos. Though I would like to see another Spoony, Insaino, Spoony-bum combo review.

The Ultimat Worrior must have been hard as well.

….maybe people thought there would be a sequel because you put a “to be continued” card at the end.

There was a Weard Science TV show. I remember that much.

  • Poipoi

Yeah, this was fun to watch. I love it when you experiment and this looked like it was a fun time.

Like the others said, Maybe Linksano is the other brother? lol either way the backstory was funny

Look forward to the next experiment!

  • Reina_Vash

How could they say “what were you thinking?” it was new and upbeat. I absolutely loved how you dressed up as “Miss Spooney”. My goodness I loved it. I really had to try to keep a straight face. You look MUCH better as a boy! You may not have played that game, but I actually thought you did to be honest.

Loved Linkara and the Sclump Brothers were adorable….in a creepy kind of way. The one that is always on the left is a little less creepy. He was just so creepily adorable. I just want to run up and hug him! They were creepy though, but in an adorable way. If that makes any sense at all.

I do see a little bit you in them lol. You're just that adorable Spoonster, but not in a creepy way! I love your acting. It was fantastic and to be honest it really made me smile and giggle. Seeing you, Benzaie and Linkara as girls, I just loved it! You must do something like that again! Just try not to kill yourself on the costumes and don't work too hard!

I understand where the older members and fans are coming from. They enjoy your old ways, but I love how it's different. Even the Nostalgic Critc on thatguywiththeglasses.com does the same thing, but he does other things along with it. He's always fresh even though it can be repetitive. He still keeps it fresh with new and old jokes mixing. Then new things to review. He even puts his favorites kinds of things like villains and songs.

Anyways, I did get your joke. I love Firefly. It's a very good show that should not have been canceled! When I watched it at first I didn't catch it. Then I went back to get a better look at the posters in the back (I don't know why just go with it) and then I heard it. I started laughing instantly.

Keep up the good work Spoonster!

Oh! Before I forget… You should make a sequel for Dr. Insano ending. I love Dr. Insano! It would be awesome to see more. I hope to see more soon!!!

  • theshamster

    This was an actual game?

On a rather amusing note, you can tell it sucks because it doesnt even have its own Wikipedia page…or even a mention on any wikipedia page.

  • mrstillman

    I thought the

  • mrstillman

I thought the Dr. Insano part was great, but the rest made me shudder due to the creepy aspect fo seeing males dressed up as females. I feel the same icky feeling even at the grocery store when I see a transexual. It's just not right for heterosexual eyes. Anyway, still pretty funny though.

Oh, and fuck you from Canada.

  • Kizna

Hey when you get a chance you need to check out the Star Trek interactive VHS game.. it was interesting and along these same lines. You should get a kick out of it.

  • http://www.facebook.com/manuel.baudisch Manuel Baudisch

Somehow, somewhere, a bird tells me that the second hlumberbrother might be the Linkara Dr. Insano.

  • komapsunida

I thought the sketch was funny! You're a wonderful person, Noah and please make more videos soon! <3

  • Gilmour

It personally didn't work for me. But whatever, your a brilliant guy spoony and almost anything you do is great.

  • mrrubino

Pfft, I already figured out who the other Schlumper is. He has short brownish hair, so who else could he be but Dr. Linksano?

  • sprode

Well I don't know what's with the hate, but it's awesome Spoony. A straight-up review of this crap would have been boring. I personally appreciate your willingness to try something new. I thought it worked well – Party Mania is that cheesy and deserves nothing more.

  • ElectricMetis

I thought your review of this was great, I don't know what anyone would be complaining about. What, are people actually planning on running out to grab a copy of this game and need an expert opinion on if its worth it? NO. Keep doing what you want to do, the way you want to do it. Following instinct is what got you this far and will keep you going.

  • penisenvy

You make such a pretty lady.

  • Canadian_Slacker

How dare you mock canadians Spoony! Do you know anything aboot canadians at all, eh? Do ya think we're abuncha hosers that go aboot saying “eh” all day,eh? Canadians are just like any other north american populace, taking to the metro to go work downtown, heading down to the dep to snack a poutine and maybe grab a coffee at the nearby Timmies before wading through 4 feet of snow to get to my dog sled and head home, eh.

I had to strain my brain for every possible canadianism that I could remember. All in all, a good sketch(I say sketch because it didin't feel like a review, not that I didn't enjoy). I look forward to seeing something like that again.

  • http://gunarmdyne.blogspot.com/ Gunarm Dyne

Poutine is the best thing to ever come out of Canada.

  • smxsonic

Actually all LK does is editing and voice acting, Sort of a MST3K advanced type of thing. It's a great practice in editing To turn out a projeect like this

  • AsukaSoryu

I found this commentary very insightful as to how this came about. Ha, I don't know why people can't deal with a little change now and then. Also, the Canadian jokes have started the stereotype war!

Where does “about” and “eh” come from, I've never heard them in my life, except from American's. :/
I remember a show where two American's try doing that stereotypical Canadian Accent, and the two Canadian's can't understand a thing they say.

  • AsukaSoryu

I didn't mind the change of style, was nice. Loved that you got LittleKuriboh. :3

Also, what is up with all the Canadian stereotypes? Eh, feels like American's are obsessed with these stereotypes. ~.~

  • Mick

    OMG! It’s Shia La Bitch!

  • peteman

So… is the other Schlumper is Linksano?

Or is he the brother of a different Schlumper in another universe?

  • http://dragonacesg7.livejournal.com/profile Dragons_Dusk

I also enjoyed the change of format. It was a surprise but the father I got into it the more I appreciated it. It was a decently executed change of pace that I found enjoyable… if partially because you twirl your hair wig hair better than I can (and yes, I'm a chick… XD)

I think some of the stunned factor I had with this wasn't the format or content, it was more this game actually existed. And here I thought the board game 'Mall Madness' was a bizarre chick game, well, after that weird dating one I never played…

Wow I think I really dated myself there, oh well, lol.

anyway, nice job with teh change up, thanks for keeping it interesting.

Oh and thanks for explaining the Earth number reference… I kept forgetting to try and look it up, lol.

Chore cards and the black hole… sounds like the stasis field I always tended to live in for the ST:TNG VHS board game

  • flabslapper

dude don't worry about it, I'm not a 'long time fan', but I love all your stuff, in the last two weeks I'm almost done watching all the back log and I love the evolution of your videos…never stop! Never change! Give these people air!

  • http://www.facebook.com/nate.sarros Nate Sarros

I actually caught the Firefly joke! It made me laugh a lot.

  • saibot216

13:24, I think he actually did jizz in his pants.
I do like this review, different format is fine.

This was actually one of my favourite reviews, no need to actually review the game, you could tell it was just junk from the clips we saw.

It really does kind of seem like the Schlumper brothers are Insano and Linksano.

  • http://twitter.com/kyriakitriti Alexandria White

Also neither of the twins danced with you.

  • http://twitter.com/Racecarlock Racecarlock

I was fine with the sketch part. But for the love of god, never dress yourself or benzai up in drag again. GAAAAH!

anyone got a link of little kuribohs yugioh-series spoony is talking about?

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_6EVM3F2U7HDWHYC7LO7TETE2KA MichaelT

It’s called Yu-Gi-Oh: The Abridged Series, and you can find it on http://www.yugiohabridged.com

  • Hitokiri Akins

Whatever happened to the other Schlumper brother? Doctor Linksano. :) Too bad Spoony’s not gonna be able to get Linkara in his videos as easy, with his departure from Channel Awesome.

    • NeroAngelo

I’d like to think that it won’t be a problem. they still do some videos together

  • NeroAngelo

since when does insano wear gloves???
