I hadn’t seen sunlight in two days!!

  • Trixer

I beat you to this, Spoony! Mine was first on the forums :D

What is the world comming to when internet based video journalists are interviewing internet based video journalists. Seriously though, I'd love to get back into it myself. I used to run my podcast (it was quite popular) way back in 2003/4 and I miss the internet journalist feel but with so many people reviewing and such, I wonder how long it'll be before we have only one guy making anything original and everyone else critiquing it.

  • waterguyroks

Did I hear Spoony say he liked a Final Fantasy product?

  • c1catwoman

Keep up the great work Spoony and don't stop! I been your fan since your old reviews on YouTube.. way back when.

Man, you are a very good talker :D

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Daniel-Gilfillan/1681085004 Daniel Gilfillan

Good lord man, it's a DIRECTIONAL mic. You don't have to YELL INTO IT!

  • http://www.facebook.com/bendikl Bendik Gjestrud Løvbrøtte

goddamn that was some fast talking! and screaming THE SCREAMING!

  • Vargtass

They just had to get a taste of class, so they interviewed Noah… B)

We need someone like spoony to review reviewers like spoony. That would be very funny.

  • L1nk1

Spoony is getting more famous. More guys will hate him and love him. :)

  • Kefka

    Wow… Spoony seems really cool
I have to check out his site!!
what was the site called… XD

  • http://www.facebook.com/gregorylfox Gregory Fox

Wow, that must have been totally surreal for you. You went to E3 to be an interviewer not an interviewee.
Anyhow, huge congrats on getting this fame.

  • http://www.facebook.com/ObieWanCoyote Christopher Lash

There's something already in the works from another old school friend of Spoony's. I'm not sure how this is going to pan out…

  • http://www.facebook.com/ObieWanCoyote Christopher Lash

I'm actually looking forward to another “Hotel From Hell” episode if they'res any more footage. That was kinda funny to see how bad the communication is at certain hotels is. And that had to be really surreal… that would be like somebody cutting me off, slamming on their breaks, and then asking for driving tips for the future =p.

Man I wish I could be there, E3 is just the most awesome thing ever! Shame I live in UK, also awesome interview by the way.

  • http://twitter.com/dmyy20 Dana Stemo

:) That's awesome that you are getting interviewed at E3. Though not to be mean, but the yelling into the mike was hurting my ears a bit. I know it was loud in the room you were in, but it was a bit distracting from the interview. That was my only nit-picky thing (and it really wasn't too distracting that I couldn't watch the whole interview).

Dude, keep doing what you're doing, and we will keep coming to the site so you can bring dinner to the table haha :P

  • Sexual_Tyrannosaurus

Spooney has refined his style so much he doesn't even need a running start to rant. It's hello to rambling jibbering madness with no nasty waiting, and I salute you.

  • http://twitter.com/Leithinan Tova Vikström

Interesting to see you getting interviewed, not the other way around :) You did well, of course.

  • laikka100

I see you guys really worked your ass off at the E3. Thank you so much for bringing this stuff to us! Thank you!

Truer words have never been spoken

  • http://twitter.com/KaiLeingod John Spearing

ehm turn the volume down a bit

  • http://twitter.com/KaiLeingod John Spearing

    AAHHHH! a furry!

lol E3 looked epic wanted to find a video of the circus show thing but no luck so fair

  • anonns

I caught a vid through this youtube link that showed/talked about Kinect.

I gotta tell you Noah that that Microsoft set-up looked pretty cool.

Did you try it out? If you did, can you describe the hardware?

  • foodlespane

This coverage is a lot more in-depth and worth it than, say, the half-assed coverage of a certain nerd with anger management issues or his plagiarizer. Good job.

  • http://twitter.com/dmyy20 Dana Stemo

I wasn't listening on headphones, I was listening though my laptop speakers. If I turned it down, wouldn't be able to hear it very well.

I'm just a bugger with static sounds, that's all. It distracts me a ton.

  • http://twitter.com/KaiLeingod John Spearing

I didn't get any static through my monitor strange, oh well must be down to the other guys Microphone, I mean look at it almost ready stab someone with it.

  • http://twitter.com/KaiLeingod John Spearing

Warhammer 40k Tau? Kroot? eat many orcs?

  • TOYBOXX

Sitting on your ass all day watching bad movies, or playing horrible games while formulating a review script to be video recorded later, no matter how you justify your way of living, what you do is still considered a dream job.

  • ToveriJuri

    That's Relative.

Doing insane hours inside a law firm office, trying to break your head to find some tricks that sway the case your side and having little sleep during the week is a dream job too.

  • foodlespane

Good thing Spoony's good at it, or else he'll be part of the Internet dredge of mediocrity.

  • http://www.vgboxart.com/author/alldreamsfalldown/ alldreamsfalldown

Wrong kind of mic. Quite distorted.

  • graylord

    Crap that's one bad microphone.

  • Vargtass

Indeed, it makes him strong ^^

  • sassamura

That is STYLE it's also works as a dildo too.

  • saint23thomas

What is this “sunlight” you speak of?

  • devilfish

Wow, Spoony is a celebrity. Makes you think. Not very much, but still.

  • devilfish

It's all relative. Don't underestimate the kind of stress that comes with trying to make ends meet in creative lines of work. I mean, I tried that. I nearly starved. Now I'm on the road to financial success and all I had to do was completely sell out and abandon every value I ever held dear! Success, baby!

Yeah, I miss being poor and respectable.

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Filipe-Isabelinho/100000173498272 Filipe Isabelinho

microphone AWAY from the mouth, DISTORTION TOO MUCH!

  • http://dragonacesg7.livejournal.com/profile Dragons_Dusk

    Very awesome

a site that had questions submitted by it's fans to review The Spoony One, too cool

  • http://www.justin.tv/imagoth2004 imagoth2004

I can honestly say Spoony that you're the main reason why I started doing my justin.tv streams every night, and now I'm starting to get a small following (on weekends) of about 80 something. Maybe it was just luck, but hey, still pretty awesome.

  • http://www.facebook.com/orastella Aileen Mason

The Elder Geek did not need to have the mic so close to his mouth.

  • Digital_Ronin

Small slip-up… “The Final Fantasy Movies” … You meant the games…
Buuuuuuuuuuuut … Would you … please? I would like to hear your opinion

  • http://twitter.com/rantanplan1980 Daniel

Hands out of the pocket if being interviewed ;-)

  • http://www.facebook.com/AlphaLackey Charles Raymond Mousseau

“Have you ever been here [in LA]?” Asked by one man to another while both are in LA. Nicely done, Spoony :)

  • TheFeydakin

The mic volume was blazing my face off! Correct that shit!

  • DeadCatsBounce

LOL at half the comments complaining about the sound on a 3rd party video. I turned the volume down and it was fine.

Interviews like this are usually 'whatever' but this was actually a pretty neat interview. Short, sweet, to the point with a bit of insight on some backstory and how the gears turn when Spoony's working on this stuff.

  • devilfish

Reminds me of a couple of tourists I once met asking me to turn the sun off because it was too bright. Some things cannot be helped, people.
